I'm not looking for someone to complete me, but someone who will enrich my life. Life is complicated enough; I hope to find someone to help make it a bit easier, a bit brighter just because they are aroundI think my friends would describe me as caring and down to earth. Sometimes I feel like I am still 17, pretending to be an adult, terrified that someone will discover my elaborate farce. I think I am pretty shy but no one seems to believe me. Maybe it just takes me a while to warm up to a man before I can be my confident, outgoing self.I’ Looking forward to live music and movies outside, spending time at the bay, and lots of dog park visits with my lab Kade. In the past year I have been making strides to take better care of myself, eating less processed foods and working out more, so someone who is active and open to teaching me a few things is a plus. One day I hope to not hate running. I would like to spend time with someone who is respectable and can hold his own in a conversation. Someone who is loyal, open, and goal-oriented. Someone who knows how to be confident without coming across as a jerk. Someone hopefully a bit witty, who would enjoy trying new things. I hope to find someone who can make me laugh and I can have a fun time with-no matter what we do. I love to laugh, and love it more when you laugh at my obscure movie quotes. Plus it makes it easier to try new things if we will both be laughing at each other. Oh yeah, and it helps if you like my dog. I know who I am and what I want at this point so I hope to find someone who is there as well. I’m done messing about. I’m not saying I want to jump into a relationship, but I hope to find someone with the potential to be that. I ultimately want someone who I can share my life and go on adventures with.If you are a smoker, a big drinker/bar hopper, homophobic, or right-wing. Thank you for your attention – but its best if you move on. I would be up for just about anything. Something laid back where we can get to know each other. Lets go to a baseball game and drink beer in the cheap seats. Or ride the ducks and quack those duck whistles while we wave at people. Please don't ask me to go hiking on the first couple of dates - note that being murdered is not on my list of interests :)
