I am intelligent and have difficulty suffering utter fools. However, I am also empathetic and caring (sometimes to a fault.) I have a great need to help others that I come in contact with. I am certainly not a saint, but giving is a large portion of my nature. When Christmas comes along, I far more enjoy giving gifts than receiving.I have an innate ability to blend well with many different types of people, and I can often flow with the crowd without losing my own identity. I am an administrator at heart, and I am in my own element when I am organizing and have some form of a leadership role. While being serious comes naturally to me, I am a big kid at heart. I will admit to being caught watching cartoons and goofing off with a wacky and childish sense of humor every once in a while. I am quick to smile, and do not enjoy holding a grudge. I have never learned the art of subterfuge, and therefore, everything I am feeling reflects in my face. I have the tendency to speak my mind openly, and I am a very direct person.Every positive has its negative, and I have mine. Patience has been a learned attribute, and I can have difficulties admitting when I am wrong. I don’t do subtle very well, and I often need to be directly approached if I have made a mistake. Both are things that I consciously attempt to correct, but I do not always succeed. Overall, I have a good sense of myself, and I am confident. I know my strengths, and I attempt to fortify my weaknesses.Right now: I am enjoying life. Making new friends. I am a hiring/HR manager for a security company. I like my job for the most part. With the exceptions of hard-core rap and old-time country, I like nearly everything.Food and I have the typical love-hate relationship. I love food, and then I hate myself later. I have been told I am a good cook, and I like to try new things. Mediterranean has to be my favorite ethnic food, but I like nearly anything as long as it is not too hot (spicy). I can't enjoy flavor if my mouth is on fire.I love white wines, and especially enjoy local wines. I recently had the opportunity to go on a wine trail through the NE part of the state. I got to sample a variety of flavors and ranges of quality. Ohioans surprisingly have access to an amazing source of genuinely good local wine.The six things I could never do without:1) My cell phone: I like to stay connected, but I am not glued to my phone like some people I see on a daily basis.2) My computer: I am an information hound...when I have to know something, I have to look it up right then and there.3) Soap: I like being clean...call it an odd affinity for not smelling bad.4) Hair care products: My hair is naturally curly, and is impossible to take care of without some serious "essentials."5) My car: I enjoy my freedom.6) Coupons: I love getting the best deals and saving money.I spend a lot of time thinking about:My job and the next new thing I would like to try.On a typical Friday night I am:I would rather be working on a hobby or out with friends doing something constructive.     Just to save everyone time: I almost never answer messages that say 'hi how are you?' or a variation thereof.I have no idea what I want to be when I grow up, but I do my best to enjoy what I do in the meantime.
