About Me

I am new to this whole online dating thing but I figure that I would give it a try. It is difficult to describe myself and my "perfect match" in a couple of paragraphs but I will try my best. I enjoy traveling and getting away, RI can become pretty dull very fast. The teaching profession has a definite perk which is time off. During my vacations I try to get away, preferably somewhere warm, where I can sit on the beach. I love the ocean and I try to spend time there as much as possible. I have to say that I am not really the kind of person who enjoys the cold or traveling to the mountains. A sense of humor is very important to me otherwise I may find others to be somewhat boring. I have no problem putting myself on the line for a good laugh. I am a very big "practical joker" and enjoy acting like a clown sometimes, all in good nature of course. I am also very interested in music and art. I thoroughly enjoy listening to quality music and appreciate all forms of art. The world needs more artists. Eventually I would like to live somewhere with a warmer climate, so that I can sit on the beach and relax regardless of the season. Winter is just so depressing, I enjoy being outside and breathing in fresh air without having to put on half of my wardrobe. Well, there is so much more about me and I dont think I can summarize much more within a few paragraphs. I am the type of person who would rather just meet face to face, this internet thing only gets you so far. All in all, I am sick of going out to bars and finding idiots, that game gets pretty tedious. I hope to find someone to build a relationship with or just develop friendships. Contact me and we will see if you make the cut first!!

Woman. 35 years old. Zodiac sign: Aries.

Looking for: man. In age: 32-42

I live by the motto: Live, Laugh, and Love with all your heart. I also have a second part-tme job babysitting for many superb families through a boutique nanny agency that I absolutely love! I am friendly, down to earth, silly, outgoing, honest, independent, caring, and a fun person. I like stability in my life but at the same time enjoy being spontaneous. I love to spend most of my time outdoors especially on the water when the weather permits. I like variety in my life from the music I listen to, to the places I travel, to the activities I do, and food. I welcome all friends; however, I do not date outside of my race, am not fond of a bunch of tattoos, am not interested in a homebody, not interested in a guy that is not Christian, not interested in someone that feels the need to have to drink everyday to have fun or thinks he always has to be the life of the party. The things I can not live without are God, my family, my friends, the beach, the lake, coffee, and UGA football:***day when I am blessed enough I hope to add my best friend/husband, his great family, and my amazing future kids to the list of things I can not live without.I know exactly what I am NOT looking for and for the most part what I am looking for. I am looking for a handsome christian gentleman who shares the same morals and values as I. He must get along well with others, be honest, dependable, respectful, family oriented, have a good sense of humor, affectionate, faithful, know himself and what he wants, looks forward to being an outstanding loveable husband/best friend and dad. Anything really except a movie

I'm at a point in my life where I'm ready to meet someone and have a real long lasting substantial relationship. I feel like I have a lot to offer the right person...its just finding the right person that's the hard part! In saying that...I dont mean that I'm looking to jump into something really serious right away. That takes time. But I'm definately not looking for just a fling. I have a 10 year old son, so I am looking for someone that doesn't mind dating a girl that has kids. If you know what song these lyrics are from, then we'll get along :)" Yeah, she knows the man I ain't,She forgives me when I can't,"Here's some quotes I like: "Destiny is not a matter of chance, its a matter of choice. It's not a thing to be waited for, it's a thing to be achieved.""Fate is real..but it only takes you so far, because once you're there it's up to you to make it happen." We spend more, but have less, we buy more, but enjoy less. We have bigger houses and smaller families, more conveniences, but less time. We have more degrees but less sense, more knowledge, but less judgment, more experts, yet more problems, more medicine, but less wellness. We drink too much, smoke too much, spend too recklessly, laugh too little, drive too fast, get too angry, stay up too late, get up too tired, read too little, watch TV too much, and pray too seldom. We have multiplied our possessions, but reduced our values. We talk too much, love too seldom, and hate too often. We've learned how to make a living, but not a life. We've added years to life not life to years. We've been all the way to the moon and back, but have trouble crossing the street to meet a new neighbor. We conquered outer space but not inner space. We've done larger things, but not better things. We've cleaned up the air, but polluted the soul. We've conquered the atom, but not our prejudice. We write more, but learn less. We plan more, but accomplish less. We've learned to rush, but not to wait. We build more computers to hold more information, to produce more copies than ever, but we communicate less and less. These are the times of fast foods and slow digestion, big men and small character, steep profits and shallow relationships. These are the days of two incomes but more divorce, fancier houses, but broken homes. These are days of quick trips, disposable diapers, throwaway morality, one night stands, overweight bodies, and pills that do everything from cheer, to quiet, to kill. It is a time when there is much in the showroom window and nothing in the stockroom. A time when technology can bring this letter to you, and a time when you can choose either to share this insight, or to just hit delete. Remember to spend some time with your loved ones, because they are not going to be around forever.Remember, say a kind word to someone who looks up to you in awe, because that little person soon will grow up and leave your side. Remember, to give a warm hug to the one next to you, because that is the only treasure you can give with your heart and it doesn't cost a cent.Remember, to say, 'I love you' to your partner and your loved ones, but most of all mean it. A kiss and an embrace will mend hurt when it comes from deep inside of you. Remember to hold hands and cherish the moment for someday that person will not be there again.Give time to love, give time to speak! And give time to share the precious thoughts in your mind. And always remember, life is not measured by the number of breaths we take, but by those moments that take our breath away.

Well, I am a teacher and small town farm girl. I enjoy spending time at home, but also enjoy getting dressed up and going out with friends. I got my hunting license a few years ago and enjoy hunting pheasant in the fall. I love KU basketball and am a complete nut during college basketball season! However, I don't personally play any sports and never really have. So, if you are looking for an athlete, I'm probably not your type.I am a middle school language arts teacher. I also write for a grammar website! Love teaching, but don't always love some of the things that come along with it! New school this year, so that is a new challenge, but loving the change so far! I believe that marriage is not about finding that person who "completes you". I think you should already be complete and confident in yourself and marriage should be about finding someone that you can share that with. I am looking for a man who is dependable, who can support me in my career and hobbies, who also has his own hobbies, who is confident in himself, but not arrogant, who doesn't mind being a little silly sometimes! Someone who is not afraid of a strong woman, but can also be my rock when I'm not so strong. Intelligence is also important to me. You don't have to have a degree to be considered intelligent, but I am interested in finding someone who can challenge me intellectually. Having a "nice guy" is a great thing, but he also has to be able to support his family, make decisions, and stand up for himself in life!I do not have any children of my own, but am ready for that in my life. I've been with guys who have kids from previous relationships and sometimes it has gone well, and sometimes not so well. I guess, ultimately, it comes down to being a good father, whether you already have children or not.Question of the day: Why do the majority of men on meetville have pictures of themselves while driving???
