About Me

I am most importantly a woman seeking God's heart. Being in love with Him and being known by Him are the most important things, in my book. Beyond that I want to be a wife and a mom someday - but that will come after a deep foundation of friendship is established. I am creative, fun-loving, sarcastic, analytical, introverted around strangers, but extroverted with friends. I am a good listener, faithful and loyal in friendship, and will go above and beyond to be there when a friend needs me or my help. I am comfortable in a crowd, but prefer quality time with a small group of friends. I highly value the importance of doing life together in community, especially with other Christians, and also with a group of women who I can be completely vulnerable with. I expect any guy I date to value that as well. Right now a big part of my life is my church community, and being part of the worship team - it fuels my joy. And I love teaching and taking care of children in my career.I'm not thin or even "athletic" (though I enjoy sports, and enjoy non-competitive activities like sand volleyball or softball with friends). I would not be a good partner for someone who is obsessed with fitness and exercise. I definitely want to put more energy and effort into the health of my body, and am currently actively on that journey, but I will never *like* running or going to a gym. And let's be honest - I will probably never (want to) wear a bikini. But I want to be with someone who encourages me to get out there and be active *with him*. I want to do even more than I am, but I want someone to do it with.

    I'm a fun loving gal, I try not to sweat the small stuff and just have fun. I like movies, both going out to see them and watching them at home. My DVR is usually full of all my favorite shows and any strange shows I happen to stop on. I don't go out to see bands as often as I used to but I love new music and get out when I can. I spend alot of time listening to indie rock but I'm open to most any type. Outdoor concerts in the summer are always great with a dinner out on a patio. I love new movies but a night out seeing a classic film is always great too.
