I am not sure I'm "sold" on the whole "online dating" thing. It seems to come with such a crazy amount of pre-concieved notions and expectations. Buuuttt... I am an eternal optimist, so am hoping that there is someone out there who shares my same view of it, lol! That "meeting" is not necessarily "dating", and that a dating site could be used as a way to meet interesting people you might not have otherwise met, and get to know them a little. Not necessarily hook up for casual, unfulfilling and probably at least slightly awkward ... encounters.... so to speak. Nor to plan future children and bathroom paint colour schemes on "date" #2. :PI have tried the online deal before, met some interesting people, but nothing seemed to really spark. Either that or conversations essentially went nowhere, sticking to the realm of the safe, and frankly, somewhat boring. So I propose (ha!) a shift in perspective. How about we talk to each other just as people meeting for the first time....? Sounds crazy, I know, but stay with me here... We could get to know each other a little just as people, no pretense, and THEN decide if dating was worth trying, perhaps? Does that sound crazy..?? Totally, completely, out-of-this-world bizarre..?? :DSo if this sounds slightly less-than crazy to you, drop me a line. Maybe we can grab a coffee/drink/whatever. I'm not much for chatting a whole lot online, simply because typing annoys me after awhile, lol. clickclickclick... blech. :PIf I don't respond, please don't be offended. I have had unresponded-to messages too. It really is ok, you don't want someone who isn't into you enough to respond, right? Nobody wants that. :) Caveat: MUST love dogs. Seriously. mustmustmust. uh... first "meet", you mean..? ;)

Hello!About me... I enjoy the simple things in life, reading a book on a Sunday afternoon, beers at the local pub, people watching on a patio... You can always find me with a book, ready to be picked up at any down moment. Like every other profile you've read here, I love music, no, but I really do! I am a music trivia geek, whenever I discover a new song, I research it. I have tons of useless music trivia stored away in my brain. Did you know that in the intro of Roxanne by The Police, Sting accidentally sat on the piano and laughed, they kept it in.I have a very quirky personality and I will be the first to admit that I can be more then a little awkward on first encounters. I can guarantee inappropriate and awkward things said/done during a first meet. I've done a fair bit of Europe and currently saving up a for trip to Thailand. Unlike most of the female population, I really hate shopping, I don't care all that much for fashion, but makeup is my vice.I'm looking for someone who I can be stupid with but also have an intelligent, articulate conversation with. You can dish out a joke and you can also handle the comeback. You enjoy a night out as much as staying in with munchies and a good movie.I'm currently recovering from knee surgery after a nasty dislocation. I'm still walking with a cane and my mobility is... well, there are no long walks on the beach in my immediate future. I do have a pretty kick ass scar though! Anything casual and fun that gives us time to chat and get to know one another.

Well I know I'm going to sound generic but this is the hard part to talk about yourself. I'm a normal, fun, outgoing woman who likes to have fun, go out, listen to music, dance and be free! Life is so short and I wAnt to make the most of it! I love shopping!!! It's a bad thing to love I know but it's so fun to do! I love trying new things and love to road trip and travel. I'm very on the go, and love spur of the moment ideas. There is more but if your reading this you got the main parts of me ;) if your interested you can find out much more. I love good conversation. First dates are usually a little uncomfortable at first. I love coffee so that would have to be my number one place to go. If not there somewhere for drinks. Maybe wine tasting? Somewhere where we can relax and enjoy each other.
