As cliche as it sounds, I love trying new things and activities. D.C has so much going on that I never feel like I take advantage of it all. I am an army brat, obviously, and DC has been the place I have lived the longest. I am slightly sarcastic but mostly I'd would say that I am sweet. However, that is for you to decide.I love cooking savory and sweet stuff. However, I am a freak and hate sweets ( not like a dainty girl watching her figure but rather in a since birth type of way. What I do care about is how you treat others. I would love to find a man who can have a serious side and a light-fun side. Someone for deep conversations and someone who would start a mini food fight while we cook. Currently, I'm loving life and want to find someone to share my passion with. An old soul at heart, brought up with old-fashioned morals. That doesn't mean I'm a goody two shoes (weird phrase), but it does mean I'm not looking for a one night stand.I have met a few people who have never left their home state. This makes me slightly nervous. I cannot imagine not tasting new foods, meeting new people, experiencing new sights. I am always reading at least three books, which makes for crazy dreams when they all mix together. I love putting on high heels and dresses, but I feel equally comfortable rocking jeans or sweats and rolling down a grassy hill. I like watching most sports, and enjoy grabbing tickets when able. I also geek for motorcycles, indoor gun ranges, and the smell of Home Depot, so I'm not entirely a helpless little lady. However you may have to dispose of a spider or two.Hopeless romantic. I will surprise you with tickets to your favorite band or take you to that action flick you've been IMDBing or nab some seats at a game. That's the future. For now, let's just meet. No fancy dinner, just a hike or coffee or an arcade. Let's play pinball and talk about our favorite books. Let's be ourselves, and if it doesn't work out on either end, we will still have had an awesome time.What am I looking for? I don't have a type, but someone kind and honest, doesn't cheat or play games, and a man who can make me laugh and whom I can make laugh. Maybe someone who knows how to wield a power tool.
