Seems like every guy has a picture of himself with a big fish! :) Guess I should take up fishing as a hobby since all of the single men seem to be somewhere on a boat.I am a pretty simple person just looking for someone who is emotionally and financially secure, independent, down to earth, intellectual, hardworking, funny, and loyal. I like to spend time around the house. I love to garden, cook and do small projects around the house. I love to go out and socialize but am not a party girl by any means. I am a social butterfly though. I wear my heart on my sleeve. If you have half naked photos of yourself flexing then you're probably not the guy for me. I am also puzzled when men select "prefer not to say" in the "Do you want children?" question. What does that even mean? lol Probably just grab a drink and chat.

I can truly say I adore life. I tend to do too much, can't say no to a great excursion, whether its apple picking, concert, long hike, playing tourist, etc. I enjoy baking and cooking - tend to lean towards discovering über healthy recipes but love cookies and burgers. Won't lie, I often suck at cooking. I'm no chef. Have the most wonderful little girl so spare time is limited but I make the best of the time I do have. Looking to start off slow, see if I meet someone that I share chemistry with and then take it from there.

As cliche as it sounds, I love trying new things and activities. D.C has so much going on that I never feel like I take advantage of it all. I am an army brat, obviously, and DC has been the place I have lived the longest. I am slightly sarcastic but mostly I'd would say that I am sweet. However, that is for you to decide.I love cooking savory and sweet stuff. However, I am a freak and hate sweets ( not like a dainty girl watching her figure but rather in a since birth type of way. I did make a lot of money selling my Halloween candy to my dad though).I am trying to be a civic minded person ;) and have started volunteering. And no it is not part of a community service sentence. I am volunteering with the charity I got my dog from as well as a wounded warrior Charity. As far as the future..... I think coffee or drinks is a good start. If things go well then you always have the option for dinner after.
