About Me

I'm a recently divorced, mother of two kids. My life revolves around them, which means anyone I hang out with needs to understand that they might not get to see me a whole lot, or that I can't always get a babysitter to get out of the house so there might be a lot of hanging out watching movies at my place. I'm not looking for a serious relationship, kind of just want to get to meet people and see what it is I'm actually looking for since I'd been married for the past 5 years. Sometimes I just want to hang out with my friends. So I need someone independent who doesn't make me feel like they're clingy. I like to do karaoke, a lot, dance, watch movies, drive around and talk, go out to eat, take walks, I'm down for whatever basically. I work full time, and just moved out into my place with my kids, and it feels great to be getting my life back on track. I'm sarcastic. I love to laugh, and find super inappropriate stuff funny. If you don't mesh well with my friends it's a turn off. I listen to every type of music. A lot of whatever's on the radio, because it's easy to sing along to and catchy. But I've got just about every genre imaginable on my iPod. I'm pretty simple. If I were to meet someone I'd prefer to meet out at a public place where there's no pressure, playing pool with friends or something. First date after that really depends I guess.

    . Hi, I hate these about me things.. I think a person is too complex to fit in a box. I just finished my last years of graduate school, and am moving onto a career in Social Work.
