Why am I on POF? I am on here just as an opportunity to hopefully meet a great woman that I otherwise wouldn't meet! I am a down to earth guy. I prefer bacon bits to croutons. I believe in mutual respect and believe that I am a fair person….although don’t think that I will let you win at bowling. ;-) Yes I am competitive by nature, but not to a fault. I was married for a short period...but have been divorced now for 10 years. We have a 12 year old daughter together and they both live out of state. I have been in the Coast Guard now for about 15 years. I play the drums...have for 20 years...but just recently got back into it. I also recently got back into art...drawings and acrlyic painting....I would gladly show you my work. I am not expecting to meet the love of my life on here but that doesnt mean Im not ready for that.… If it happens here or at the grocery store when I am shopping then so be it! I am at the stage in my life where I can wait for the RIGHT thing to come along. I believe that good communication is the key to any successful relationship! Do not message to looking to hook up! Yes I have received some very shady and interesting ***…and that is not why I am on here… Have some self respect please!!!! I love to cook….go ahead…..ask me about my green beans! I dare you...but there is more to me than just a vegetable...so please dont *** ask about them....really... ;-) Staying in shape is important to me. I love to hit the gym…go for walks…..really anything out doors. I would like to meet someone that takes care of herself…..Bingo night keeps me out until 9 on Wednesdays some stamina is a important! Something casual....cup of coffee... A beer... Something where meeting the parents isn't involved lol

    I might not be the tallest guy in the room, but what I lack in height, I make up for in personality. However, if that isn't good enough, I can always just put on a pair of those fancy shape up sketchers and be *** and just be a little fashionably challenged.I don't have a lot of pictures yet because I am finishing up my P90x transformation. Hey that's me too. Ok, I am divorced so I must not be perfect. I think it was the Skechers shoes that did us in. Lol. But I get a beautiful daughter that I utterly adore from the deal. I love watching her smile and grow into a little lady. So it is important to me that you don't secretly hate kids or..... I don't know....puppies. How can anyone hate kids or puppies??? But I know there are girls that do and if so...kick rocks!!! Lol As for what I am looking for, I don't have a punch list of things that I require because not everyone fits into that perfect box of correct height, weight, religion, income and other crazy parameters. However, I am attracted to a woman that is intelligent and that loves to smile and laugh. If we truly connect, that means you are special to me and that's all that really matters in the end. My disclaimer is what I am not looking for. I really am not into the drug scene so if your idea of a party just means wasting money on an eight ball, I am not your guy. And what is up with the pill problem down here? The narcolepsy look is not attractive.As for what I like to do, I am pretty diverse and open. I like going to fancy restaurants or having a home cooked meal. I like going out with friends or staying in and watching a movie. I like to do active things rather than sit around playing a video game. I am a typically guy and I like sports and play golf, shoot pool and play cards. I think a cool date is going to a zoo, an aquarium, a comedy club and okay diner and drinks are the cool norm too. If you read through this whole rant you might as well *** am more entertaining in person. :) See above lol
