About Me

I'm a NY transplant, been here now for fifteen year. I work two jobs, have my own place, and car. I have a ten year old son that gets all my time when he's here. I can be busy at times but still have time to go out and hopefully meet that someone. I'm recently starting my life over after a very long relationship, so dating again is new to me. I'm not the best at keeping up a conversation, but I do try , so please try to message back more then one or two words. I do smoke, but trying to quit. I have cut down considerably just haven't been able to give it up completely. I'm sure you noticed I put a few extra pounds, but I am in shape. I like to cook sometimes and pretty good at it if I do say so. After work I can be tired sometimes and like to stay in and relax, but usually like to be outside even if just sitting on the porch on a cool day. I do like to go out, but not every weekend. If you do we're not going to get along. I also get up very early in the morning so usually in bed early as well. If your a night owl its going to be complicated between us. I'm a family kind of guy and always planning stuff to do with them. I'm not a drinker, if I have three beers in a week it was one to many. I have a variety of different interests. I like being outdoors when I can be. Weather it be fishing, hiking, swimming at the lake, or just grilling out with the family. I also play softball for the church league and basketball with friends when we can get together. I've just recently started playing golf, if you can call it that, but have enjoyed learning. I have a dirt bike that I on any given day I'll jump on and go riding. I like going to the park and walking sometimes or sitting under the shelter watching a good storm. I also like to find new recipes to try, so you have to like being in the kitchen with me sometimes. I go camping every once in a while with my son and nephews. Always like doing that when we can. I also have a Mr. fix it mentality, I can fix or build about anything. If you found something interesting about me and would like to know more. If your actually looking to date someone and can hold a two way conversation. I really don't want to but this part, but after being on here for a short time felt I have to and I know this doesn't refer to everyone. If all you want to do is talk for weeks on end please don't message me. If your just looking for friends, I have enough. If you have ever excuse in the book on why you can't meet. Your wasting my time. If you only have one day a week to get away, it's not going to work. If the only time I talk to you is when I message then why are we talking. If there's only one person in the conversation, I'll just stop messaging. I'm trying to find someone that wants to get to know me as I do them. That wants to be in my life and spend the time it takes to see if there's something long term. If you don't have the time to go out or hang out then not sure why your trying to date, I'm looking for a lady not a child. I'm more of a rugged looking guy, by know means a pretty boy, but one of the best guys you'll meet that knows that I'm looking for and how to treat a lady. I'm not for everybody just like not everyone is for me, but that's why where on here. To talk and see and if all goes well meet and see how it goes.

    About me? This should be fun:) Lol.I'm just "me"! I'm an average looking guy I guess. That being said I have been extremely lucky in my life. I have dated some really amazing women and most are still my dear friends!! So maybe i'm not too bad to look at. Lol. I'm not too caught up on my looks, but I take care of myself. I know there's still a few of you out there:) I am confident in myself. Not the jealous type or clingy. As far as relationships go, we should want each other in our lives an not have to just feel we need each other. If that makes sense. I guess what I'm trying to say is: I think we should not have our self worth dependent on each other, but *** should enhance and we need to bring out the best in each other. Just feel that's a much healthier relationship. I'm not a rich man either so I cannot be your sugar daddy:( Dang! Oh well, it just wasn't meant to be I guess. Lol. By now the true meaning of life should be clear. At least I hope so. Lol. I just think money doesn't bring happiness because I'm the happiest guy in the world! I'm no fool and money is nice to have, but not having it doesn't mean you can't live your life and be happy. I don't let it stop me!! Again, life's too short:) So if being a homebody and never leaving the house is your thing then we probably won't make a good match. But if you are a homebody and are looking for someone to motivate you to get out an live a little then we might be a good match. Just be honest about it. Remember, we should bring out the best in each other;) I love staying home an chilling out as much as anyone and I pride myself in providing a great home for my kids that is filled with love an laughter but life's too short for me and I like to go out and explore and do fun things! I guess in summary I'll just say I love life, love kids, love family, love friends, love animals, and love myself.
