About Me

Had fished with my dad all my life, but our first fly fishing trip... with my dad a few years ago.I went right out into the river with my hip boots on ready to take it on and cast, my reel flew off my rod. I spent the next 45 minutes trying to just stand up in the river and save my reel, making a rats nest out of my line. Wanted to quit. Next day, we went out with a**** SOB guide, who told me, "when reeling in a fish, it's like a dance with your partner, sometimes you lead, sometimes you follow." Really? And you won't marry your girlfriend of 8 yrs...are we really going to get a fish?"I out fished them both, an amazing fishing trip....and that weekend also taught me a lot about life and relationships. MyThat was mine and my dad's last fishing trip.My 30 yr. old secretary told me that a fish story on a dating site wasn't good. What? I believe it says a lot...in a realtionship sometimes you lead and sometimes you follow, you have frustration but you don't quit, a little hook doesn't mean you won't catch a big fish, the bait you use is not more important than the strength of your line, and that you need to be present every minute because you never know if you'll ever have that opportunity again. I thought it said it all but, ok fine, I'm a therapist, clinical director and owner of a mental health agency. I love to fish and camp and do that often. Enjoy cooking, but no just for myself but with someone else, am easy going, and really don't need an agenda to have fun and laugh everyday. Whatever we decide will be best for both of us.

Hi there! I love the outdoors, walking, hiking, bonfires, gardening, etc., that sort of thing. I'm not really into the Bar scene, prefer more down to earth things now. I'm a Nurse Assistant, I love my job, not many of us can say and actually mean that, but in this case I do. I like being the one who often times makes that little bit of diffrence in people's lives,,I love music, all types of music. My favorite is old school rock & roll (80's), and Country..I'm always open to listen to anything other than that though. I think a great first date would be getting together for coffee,( or whatever your choice in beverages is) I don't know about you, but I know me, and I'm apt to be nervous, and the "date" would be relatively short, sort of a "meet & greet", that way no-ones under the gun so to speak.

I am a mature, easy-going lady. Like anyone else my age, I have been through rough times. I think that I handle my own "baggage" rather well. I have had enough drama in the dating world, and I'm looking to have more relaxing, enjoyable experiences with a real man. "What is a real man?" you may ask. A real man is respectful, patient, and kind. He has integrity. He is masculine, but tender. He is confident and able to get what he wants out of life. He knows how to treat a lady and make her feel like a real woman. If you think you're up for the challenge, drop me a line... A first date happens after two people have a chance to get to know each other, and a spark of excitement is in the air. When a man is interested in me, he will not have any problem letting me know and asking to spend time with me. He might ask me to have dinner with him in a quiet restaurant with a romantic ambience. The lights will be low and soft music will be playing in the background. He will focus on my eyes as we share conversation about anything or nothing at all. He knows the art of subtlety, and brushes his hand against mine from time to time during the meal. Every move is so natural. He is smiling as he leans in to whisper in my ear some sweet compliment that makes me blush. I smell his definite male scent as our cheeks touch. His eyes tell me that he is interested in me and that he wants to see me again. We leave the restaurant, and he drives through the night. He tells me of his dreams and his goals. When he walks me to the door, he holds my hand. I feel like the princess in a fairy tale until he pulls me to him. His arms are strong, and in them I feel safe. This first kiss is sweet and tender, but with a hunger that he controls. I am intrigued, and wonder about the next kiss. With that, my new lover says good night. He leaves, and we both dream of the next time that we will meet.....
