October 25, ***:The neighbors across the road are a different sort.; not altogether warm and personable. They have a habit of shooting fireworks on a grand scale at odd intervals. The neighbors to the right of me are elderly. The fireworks give them a fright each time, thinking it may be gunshots and the like so they call me for reassurance. Oh the charm of country life.
