I woke this morning with every intention of writing a new personal ad filled with keen insights and witty narrative. After sitting here for what seemed an eternity and more cross outs on the page than words I decided to lace up my nike’s and head to the gym. A good run should clear my head. Ok now I’ve knocked out 3.5miles and threw in a few pull-ups and abdominals for good measure, but still to my dismay I stare at a blank page. Do I start by saying “Curvy blond bombshell, fit (great abs)”… no, to conceited. Maybe I should add “looks great in a little black dress or sweat pants”.. no, to cliche. Wow would you look at the time, the whole day gone and I’ve only written 2 paragraphs and now it’s time for the game. Ok, so it looks like cliche is wining out… in closing compassionate, vibrant, sometimes verbose woman looking for her match. If you like pina colada’s and walks in the rain; hey if I’m going to be cliche I might as well go for it. Could this be you? Stop reading and hit the little envelope shaped button and let’s start the conversation because this has been so one sided! :) ***UPDATE: I've had a few people tell me that from my pictures and literacy level (somewhat confused on how that ties in) that I come across as "high maintenance". If taking care of myself emotionally, physically, intellectually and spiritually means high maintenance than I am guilty as charged. I would like to note though that I am not afraid to be seen in public with no make-up and rocking a ponytail... I'll leave that up to him..... Note - Sorry guys but only interested in men in my age range ***that I have things in common with (i.e. confident, bold, high energy level, active, attractive, intelligent, successful career, optimist, lighthearted, affectionate, compassionate, respectful, spontaneous, family oriented). In many ways, I am not your typical "gal." I would rather watch a gangster movie than a chick flick and I do not fit into your typical demographic for a woman my age, geographic location. I also enjoy old, low budget horror movies. The more obscure and cheesey the better.-wave) to old country and even a little folk and world music. I am a big sucker for 70's music. I have really gotten into trying out new genres and bands but I still cannot warm up to today's top 40, however I do like to explore modern alternative music.I do not have children. This is partly by choice. Please do not quiz me endlessly on this subject. Trust me, my uterus is not an interesting topic of conversation.I am divorced and am not looking for a serious relationship. I am very easy going and am interested in exploring new directions. I am who I am and am honest about what I want and like.... Good, bad or ugly. But I do not like to nor try to hurt people.I tend to be attracted to people who see things a little differently than most. A slightly sick or twisted sense of humor is a plus. If one of your goals in life is to own a Harley or you like "new" country music, I am sorry but you want a different woman. I am truly "drama free" as they say. I have a civil relationship with my ex and I lead a pretty laid back life. Making more stress and strife for myself would just sap me of energy I need for other things. However, if you are a guy who states "I am looking for no drama" that usually tells me that you are attracted to exactly that type of woman,,,,,, you can't help it and you may not even realize it.If you put me in your "favorites" but do not message me, I will not contact you. If you want to see the real thing, try to meet me in person. Pictures don't tell the whole story, anyway.Animals are a big part of my life. I am quite involved in a rescue. If you have no pets that's fine. It is better that someone doesn't have pets because they could not or would not take on the responsibility than have them and not take care of them..... just like kids. If you have made it this far, coffee, ice cream or a couple of drinks at a semi-quiet or relaxed location would probably be best. If you make me laugh like crazy and are smart it doesn't matter what or where the date is.

Hello,My hobbies are scuba diving, snow skiing, beading,site seeing, golfing, I like to try what ever my significant other likes to do.I have got to experience the highest level of financial freedom and have realized that money does not buy happiness. Had it all and now just looking for that man who makes me laugh, cries with me, loves to travel is spontaneous and just plain loves ME. Have two great children who are grown and on their own. don't get me wrong I love children just at this age don't want to raise little ones. Can't wait for grand children....My music taste is very broad, as long as it is clean and meaningful.I love putting the mattress in the TV room or whatever chilling out watching a movie, don't need to go out all the time and spend money, dancing to our favorite song and enjoying our time together at home is also very important as well. First date a nice dinner, maybe a movie but then again what ever happens happens! Love the talking and sharing interests or just whatever is on our minds. I believe communication is a must don't want that excuse (we just grew apart) ever again. Getting to know one another is vitally important. Sharing each others dreams, heart aches, goals and future expectations. Hopefully we both want a fantasic future sharing in my faith in Jesus and knowing what plans He has for us.
