I woke this morning with every intention of writing a new personal ad filled with keen insights and witty narrative. After sitting here for what seemed an eternity and more cross outs on the page than words I decided to lace up my nike’s and head to the gym. A good run should clear my head. Ok now I’ve knocked out 3.5miles and threw in a few pull-ups and abdominals for good measure, but still to my dismay I stare at a blank page. What I heard was so true, fabulous movie if you have not caught it yet I would highly recommend it, I would so go to see it again. Perhaps we can see it together? Ah but I digress, back to topic me, me, me and you. Where to start? What to include? How to tie it all together in a vibrant red bow? Do I start by saying “Curvy blond bombshell, fit (great abs)”… no, to conceited. Maybe I should add “looks great in a little black dress or sweat pants”.. no, to cliche. Wow would you look at the time, the whole day gone and I’ve only written 2 paragraphs and now it’s time for the game. Ok, so it looks like cliche is wining out… in closing compassionate, vibrant, sometimes verbose woman looking for her match. If you like pina colada’s and walks in the rain; hey if I’m going to be cliche I might as well go for it. Could this be you? Stop reading and hit the little envelope shaped button and let’s start the conversation because this has been so one sided! :) ***UPDATE: I've had a few people tell me that from my pictures and literacy level (somewhat confused on how that ties in) that I come across as "high maintenance". If taking care of myself emotionally, physically, intellectually and spiritually means high maintenance than I am guilty as charged. I would like to note though that I am not afraid to be seen in public with no make-up and rocking a ponytail... I'll leave that up to him..... Note - Sorry guys but only interested in men in my age range ***that I have things in common with (i.e. confident, bold, high energy level, active, attractive, intelligent, successful career, optimist, lighthearted, affectionate, compassionate, respectful, spontaneous, family oriented). If you selected "I want a relationship" from the above, there's a good chance we're looking for the same thing. With the right person. I don't have a lot of preconceived notions as to who I am looking for, but if you have children it helps provide a certain mutual perspective. As does kindness, honesty, and good senses of adventure and humor. I spend a lot of time with my children and friends, and am very active. I have a yoga practice that I'm trying to be consistent about. I think it's interesting that this site draws a line at "Drink Socially" and "Often" where "Often"=>3x/week". I probably have a glass of wine or beer just about every night (so, um, 7x/week). I consider myself a social drinker. Not so sure what Dr Oz would say. I listen to NPR, and turn on the music when it gets redundant, or during membership drives (after I've renewed my own membership, of course). I like the way it enables me to multitask (fix breakfast+lunch AND get the news). I do not ***, but actively follow a few important accounts *** let's me know when Alternate Side Parking is suspended or not); *** makes me laugh (sometimes) and I think it's neat that God *** me.I love a good story, from a book, movie, play, song or friend (or a really great, perfectly delivered joke; I can take them but I can't tell 'em). And I love the different ways that stories move us. Apparently, I'm big on parentheses (see above). Ideally, once we have established via *** that we are interested in meeting one another, we'll figure out a time and place to make it happen. Nothing fancy, just some place where we can talk and get to know each other.

Honesty, respect and loyalty ~ is a MUST...I am interested in learning every day of my existance. Life is an open book. I love to meet new people, strike up conversations with strangers, use my sense of humor to make peoples day, and above all respect peoples individuality. Hate reality Television, but love game shows and old shows from the 70's.I thrive on being a problem solver and am always open to suggestions and constructive criticism. I LOVE hats...of all kinds, get some weird looks sometimes, but I dont care, its' me....I am extremely independent & very self-sufficient. Come from a family of work-a-holics and perfectionsist, Not real unlikable virtures in my book...I have held down good jobs, always strive for a better way of life.Have had nothing handed to me in life, but am proud of who I am and my accomplishments. I am an extremely GENEROUS person ~I often find myself helping others who are less fortunate. Can't stand individuals who sap off the system or are poor parents and set poor examples for their children.- Took a buy-out from GMAD a few years back after 10 years ..Preparing for a State Board Test for Nursing Home Administration and then on to my next career choice in life. I try to live life to the fullest and treat others like I would like to be treated. My compassion for the elderly is a big part of who I am..Excellent Grandparents, with only the fondest of memories.I LOVE 70's music then 80's..not much for country but can handle it. Also LOVE hard rock.. Sort of an old school Rock-n-Roller.. Hate rap. Enjoy southern rock,Jazz, Blues, and seeing local bands & comedy shows. I am quite a talker and strike up a conversation rather easily. I have an quirky sense of humor and proudly display it. I love to laugh,and have a great time doing whatever the day may bring. I hate arguing, drama, control freaks, game players, liars, cheaters, and people who suck the happiness out of other's lives. I am looking for a great friendship, then getting to know someone special better. I have spent a great deal of my adult life in long-term relationships. No regrets and am friends with all the individuals I have spent years with. No children here, never been married, but plan to find that special person/man some day. I feel you cannot plan on finding something like that, if it is meant to be,...it will be....fate will tell.Being happy and learning everyday is a productive way of living and being. ...
