About Me

I love the idea of a Renaissance woman, and while I can't yet claim to be that, my goal in life is to learn about everything and, more importantly, how to do everything. So over time I've gained a few useful skills - give me a call if you need your roof fixed, a window replaced, a leaky faucet repaired, or a wall moved. I like projects (and power tools!). And have a heated discussion on the way home about whether string theory really does fit in to the explanation of how the universe began. Alas, my portfolio of interests is not yet complete; it's a big world out there to learn about and experience. Let's see... On our first date, you'll pick me up in your late model Ferrari that you personally converted to full electric and charged on your 10 megawatt solar panel array before you left home. Since you already have a deep understanding of my personality from reading my profile, you know to show up exactly 7 minutes late while I flutter around trying to decide which earrings will properly reflect my unique balance of deep intellectualism and runway model fashion sense. After a few introductory niceties, you whisk me off towards a great little local restaurant run by a former celebrity chef where the entire menu, produce as well as livestock, is raised on a small plot of land behind the restaurant. We play and laugh with the free range chickens while we wait for our table to be prepared. Throughout dinner, we charm one another with our intellect and wit, sharing stories of past adventures and lifelong dreams. After dinner, you drive us by the beach, where we walk barefoot along the surf in the moonlight and happen upon a sea turtle nest where the hatchlings are just emerging. We marvel at the miracle of nature as the hatchlings make their way into the foamy waters, their fate unknown. The moonlight sparkles on the water, a pair of dolphins leap gracefully into the air. Our eyes meet. Without a single word being spoken, we exchange a devilish smile, strip down to our bathing suits (that apparently we were wearing under our clothes all evening), and dive into the warm waters. I had no idea you were a former olympic medal swimmer - you didn't include that in your profile! The local public radio station plays quietly on the car stereo as we each silently reflect on the evening and marvel at the connection between us. We're not certain when, but we will meet again.

    I am an easy-going kind of woman and really love to have fun but I am not just a "good time gal". I love to laugh and believe you can find humor in any situation. I still believe in romance and been searching for it. It seems to have gone extinct. It has to be out there......somewhere... I have to keep the faith, lol. My goal is to find someone to spend my time and hopefully my life with. I wonder if there are any guys who actually court a woman these days. I love baseball, especially going to a WHITE SOX game. Grew up a WHITE SOX fan. My dad took us to games often. That is one of my favorite memories from growing up. I still go to sox games with my dad. I also love going out for a movie, some bowling ( haven"t done that in a while lol), perhaps a walk along the lake or in the park, checking our beautiful cities sites or one of the many festivals that goes on around the city or some dancing, not that great of a dancer but still love to go anyways. Lol...or whatever. But a nice evening at home relaxing on the sofa, watching movies is just fine too. Gardening is another one of my hobbies. I love to take a couple(or a bunch) of planters and create something colorful and beautiful. this year I am hoping to plant a variety of hot peppers again, mmmmm love hot peppers. I also like to cook, sometimes I can whip up something awesome but I can also sometimes mess it up....lol.I usually toss it out and laugh it off. I am always looking out for new and interesting recipes to try out.I need some new recipes for all those hot peppers I planted, lol. Maybe I can cook an awesome meal for you. I can also make awesome drinks and went to bar tending school(hoping to make that my next profession) to perfect my passion. I can make you a kick ass drink to go with that meal. I am somewhat health conscious and workout ***times a week . My workout is very important to me. In the past 5 years or so I have lost about ***lbs. I am very proud of that so I am always on top of my workouts. I am very loving, affectionate and loyal and would love to find similar qualities in a man. I love mystery novels.I enjoy reading books by John Sandford, his "prey" series is very riveting. I love comedies...anything with Will Ferrell, he is hilarious, also like thrillers and horror movies.In the category of tv, I lean towards the 48 hour mystery type, but my all-time favorite is seinfeld, HILARIOUS.;;b, pop but tend to like the older music(80"s) more than the modern but I have to say Maroon 5 is very good....just about anything really except rap....sorry. In the food category I tend to love pasta dishes, especially Italian but I also love mexican, Thai, chinese food. Really I love all types of food especially hot and spicy.......the hotter and spicier the better (atomic wings from wingstop, HOT!!!!! YUMMY!!) but I will try just about any type of food. First date should be very relaxed maybe for a cup of coffee or a drink, if we end up clicking we could go for dinner or a walk to continue our conversation.....notice that I did not say go back to your place or my place...just saying. Lol
