I am an easy-going kind of woman and really love to have fun but I am not just a "good time gal". I love to laugh and believe you can find humor in any situation. I still believe in romance and been searching for it. It seems to have gone extinct. It has to be out there......somewhere... I have to keep the faith, lol. My goal is to find someone to spend my time and hopefully my life with. I wonder if there are any guys who actually court a woman these days. I love baseball, especially going to a WHITE SOX game. Grew up a WHITE SOX fan. My dad took us to games often. That is one of my favorite memories from growing up. I still go to sox games with my dad. I also love going out for a movie, some bowling ( haven"t done that in a while lol), perhaps a walk along the lake or in the park, checking our beautiful cities sites or one of the many festivals that goes on around the city or some dancing, not that great of a dancer but still love to go anyways. Lol...or whatever. But a nice evening at home relaxing on the sofa, watching movies is just fine too. Gardening is another one of my hobbies. I love to take a couple(or a bunch) of planters and create something colorful and beautiful. this year I am hoping to plant a variety of hot peppers again, mmmmm love hot peppers. I also like to cook, sometimes I can whip up something awesome but I can also sometimes mess it up....lol.I usually toss it out and laugh it off. I am always looking out for new and interesting recipes to try out.I need some new recipes for all those hot peppers I planted, lol. Maybe I can cook an awesome meal for you. I can also make awesome drinks and went to bar tending school(hoping to make that my next profession) to perfect my passion. I can make you a kick ass drink to go with that meal. I am somewhat health conscious and workout ***times a week . My workout is very important to me. In the past 5 years or so I have lost about ***lbs. I am very proud of that so I am always on top of my workouts. I am very loving, affectionate and loyal and would love to find similar qualities in a man. I love to take care of a man as long as he takes care of me the same way.....emotionally, spiritually......and physically. I love mystery novels.I enjoy reading books by John Sandford, his "prey" series is very riveting. I love comedies...anything with Will Ferrell, he is hilarious, also like thrillers and horror movies.In the category of tv, I lean towards the 48 hour mystery type, but my all-time favorite is seinfeld, HILARIOUS.;;b, pop but tend to like the older music(80"s) more than the modern but I have to say Maroon 5 is very good....just about anything really except rap....sorry. In the food category I tend to love pasta dishes, especially Italian but I also love mexican, Thai, chinese food. Really I love all types of food especially hot and spicy.......the hotter and spicier the better (atomic wings from wingstop, HOT!!!!! YUMMY!!) but I will try just about any type of food. First date should be very relaxed maybe for a cup of coffee or a drink, if we end up clicking we could go for dinner or a walk to continue our conversation.....notice that I did not say go back to your place or my place...just saying. Lol

I'm not your typical conventional girl. I'm not obsessed with shopping, there's nothing that I want I'm happy with what I have. I'm well mannered and well spoken, more reserved and modest than I may appear. I don't like a lot of mush. Don't like to be smothered too much too soon. I truly like things that would interest guys more than girls. I'm not high maintenance but sexy just the same probably more so. I was told by a stranger, a woman who sees me every day I look just as good without makeup as I do with since I rush out without it in the a.m. That's the biggest compliment a woman can pay another woman : ) I'm a very introspective person and well educated thanks to my mom and dad and enjoy reading up on many different topics. I'm inquisitive, if I'm not familiar with something I look it up. My parents have gotten along together 49 years now and I realize how a man and woman should treat each other. I haven't gone through what most my age have so I don't have any drama. I'm very uncomplicated and luckily always have been. Having too many expectations of someone is very unrealistic. I do dislike arrogance, don't want a man who is wrapped up in an image or feels he is above anyone. I would like to meet a compassionate man who likes the company of kids, older people and pets as well. Being a child of the 70's & I try to keep it that way as much as I can. Get along best with a man who isn't hyper and doesn't have to be doing something all the time. I have religious belief and a conscience and would like a man who does as well. I feel it's important to have time to yourself as well as together to keep your sense of identity and appreciation for each other. Chemistry is either there or not, you can't make it happen. At the risk of being blatantly honest if you can't see yourself sexually with someone than it isn't going to work. To me intellectual chemistry is equally important because that is going to supersede everything else over time. I find a guy with a little boy charm who knows when to be a man very appealing. You don't have to be Superman, you can be Batman, he was always my favorite. I like to have fun and joke around, I'm easy to talk to and enjoy hearing about your interests as well. I'm very relaxed and not into questions, it's just not my nature. It's not that I'm not interested but I don't think it matters, things start from this point forward. I'm not a particular type, I'm comfortable no matter whether I'm at a cozy lounge or jukebox bar. I'm self-sufficient, my motto is if you want a job done right do it yourself. I'm very creative and see the artistic quality in things. I love summertime, the beach, spending time with family and friends. I have a lot of respect for and I'm close with my family and hope that you place importance on that in your own life as well. I enjoy all eras of music, more so classic rock and 80's pop. I'm most content at this age with myself and I try to see the best of a situation because most things aren't as bad as they seem. It doesn't matter where a first date takes place, more importantly is the company, you can be anywhere and have a good time.
