Seriously, why do so many guys on here feel the need to show pictures of what they drive, the house they own and all their toys? If that's what it takes to hook one and reel one in, do you really think they're worth it?Wanted: nice looking, funny, warm-hearted, affectionate, intelligent and honest guy. A man who wants a friend, a partner, a companion, a lover, because he really does want a relationship down the road, not just because he is lonely or bored.Is that really so hard to find these days? Just haven't found what I am looking for.I think I have read too many romance novels in my life. LOLI want to meet a guy who likes who he is and knows where his head is at. Someone who isn't trying to figure himself out, but already knows who he is as a person. Someone whose baggage was lost in transit. Is that you? About me: I'm not going to tell tales to make myself sound better to attract someone. What's the point in that? I'm just an average woman. Yup. Average. I'm not beautiful but I think I'm cute. I've been told I have a nice smile. I have a great sense of humour.....it's pretty easy to get me to laugh. I'd like to say I am in perfect shape, but I'm not. I'd like to lose a few. I am trying to eat healthier these days I used to play softball but I have a bum shoulder which means I can't throw worth a damn anymore. Not straight anyways. LOL. I love going for walks and my music is good company but sometimes it's just nicer walking with someone else. I love movies. Love a good action flick but what can I say? I like chick flicks, too. My least fave shows are reality shows, unless they are singing. My faves are The Blacklist, The Walking Dead, Criminal Minds, The Voice, Big Bang Theory, and I laugh my ass off every time I watch Tosh.0. That should tell you something about my type of humour right there. LOL. I'm not a genius but I'm pretty smart. Sometimes I talk to myself or inanimate objects while I am at work. Oops, did I say that out loud? I'm thankful every day for this beautiful place I call home. Beautiful. I think I appreciate it more because I was away from BC for so long. I'm independent but I also like to feel needed. I like socializing but I'm just as comfortable being alone. Not into partying all the time but I still like having a few beers with my friends on occasion, and when I do, I always have fun! More so in the summer season. I love the lake. I could live on a houseboat and be happy. I have two fantastic kids, 19 and 13, who live with their dad in another province. I miss them like crazy but they are happy so that makes me happy. I love kids but I'm not looking to raise little ones again. I love listening to music.....on the radio, in my truck, on my iPhone and live in person. Although I'm not musically inclined, some of my family are. Love listening to them jammin'. As far as genres go, I like some of everything. I like variety and I'm open to new music. It doesn't really matter what kind of music it is as long as I like it. I'm a reader. Always have been. So if I haven't bored you or scared you, and you want to know more, please just ask.
