I would steer away from the date "interview" and schedule something fun.I think bowling is a good first date. I also enjoy bike riding and hiking. I won the last game of putt-putt golf with my nephews so that would be an option as well! However, I would certainly welcome a date that includes a nice dinner with a glass of wine as well.
