OK, I'm going to try this again. The first time didn't go well however that doesn't mean there isn't somebody out there for all of us. I recently got my hair cut but have not had the opportunity to put a new picture on, sorry. I am a professional woman with a wonderful son and am seeking a person to share my life with. I am confident (but shy at first), caring, loyal, honest, passionate,"hopeful" romantic not hopeless and loving. I have wonderful friends and value my family. I expect a man to be honorable and kind and not be afraid to open up and take a chance on getting to really know a person. Simplicity and kindness is very meaningful to me. I have realized that no matter what you do if your with the right person anything can be an amazing time together. We don't live in a perfect world. By no means am I perfect nor do I expect my guy to be perfect, we all have our flaws in various aspects of our lives, however, it's working with what we are dealt with that makes us a better person. There is something to be said for the word "match". You don't need to share all the same things. A great couple must like to do things together, but they must also have a life of their own. I have no problem with a quiet evening at home cuddling on the couch watching a movie, or having a nice evening out on the town. I love to pamper also be pampered, with something that comes from the heart. I believe kissing is a lost art form that needs practice.. Even though there may be plenty of room, one should still often let their hand or body softly brush against the other as they walk past each other..or maybe on the couch - holding hands or just touching in some way for that feeling of being close-connected..that moment when it seems there is nothing else in the world that matters and you only wish the feeling could last forever. I'd like to find someone, who like me, would love nothing more than to share just as many of those moments as we could possibly fit into the rest of our lives.Please NO game players, I've had enough of that. What I'm hoping for in time, is a long term relationship built on a friendship that is sustained with mutual respect and trust. I don't go on a lot of dates by choice!!! I'm really hoping to meet one special person and be done with the dating scene!!!!     Hi! Thanks for taking time to stop by and read my profile. I am a busy mom with three children ages 10, 14, and 16. All of us enjoy being active especially when the weather turns nice. As a family we go to the gym together three times a week. We love hockey (even if we are southerners!) and make sure we attend a couple of Hurricane games each year. I teach at an elementary school and love it. I have been in education for over 16 years. I am a positive person who tries to find the good in most circumstances. I have been in too many relationships with pessimistic men, so NO GRUMPY PANTS need to apply. If it's a nice day I want to be outside doing something. I don't like to be cold EVER, so winter is my least favorite season. I enjoy being a mom and keeping busy with my kids but I would enjoy having someone to go out with occasionally. Even though I'm not a huge television wathcher, I don't mind chilling on the couch every now and then to watch a romantic comedy or some NCIS. I can dress up and be a girlie girl or be totally casual and hang out at the hockey rink. I am not a major exercise nut but I am striving to keep fit (if for no other reason, to just keep up with my kids)! I would like to be with someone who also likes to stay fit, healthy and active. I am a Christian and very grounded in my faith. I want to be with someone who feels just as blessed with what God has provided them as I do. If it sounds like we have similar interests, please don't hesitate to send me a note. I would like the first date to be at a semi-quiet cafe or restaurant so conversation with each other is not distracted. I think a lunch date would be great for starters; nothing too fancy, stressful, or complicated.

    Hello. Thank you for stopping by. I guess I should start by saying that I would love to meet someone like myself, who is quite comfortable in their own skin. I can wear a t-shirt and jeans and enjoy happy hour at a sports bar and just as easily dress to the nines and go out for an evening of dinner and opera tickets at the Broward Center.-pod. Currently I am reading three different novels, a steam punk, futuristic story, a steamy romance novel and the life story of Einstein. )I love old world charm and manners, and being treated like a lady. I love to garden, can cook, am trying to remain consistent with going to the gym( hired a personal trainer!) and love animals. I have rescued 2 dogs , three birds and have been adopted by the stray cat outside my front door. Currently I am working on renovation projects in my home but close to being finished, but are you ever really finished? beginning to think not,long sigh.......just kidding, it's actually fun seeing the results of your hard work in the finished product! I try to be open minded about most things, and am willing to at least try something before deciding against it. I don't like dishonesty or people who are committed to someone else, playing the field behind their backs.
