First, I would like to apologize in advance to any of you fine gentlemen that may have been exposed to my first attempt at posting on meetville. In my defense, there were a number of rather coercive friends involved and quite possibly more than one or two bottles of wine. In the morning, with a slightly more sober head, I also discovered, much to my horror, that I had included some rather dreadful "selfies". I have no words. I keep asking myself what kind of weirdo hopes to find a date or even a friend on an internet webstie, but here I am again. I have decided to take the advice of my well meaning friends and give it a go. So from one weirdo to another, here it is. And I am actually going to write something intelligent -- because I can. To my friends, I have taken the plunge and "put myself out there again". This is on your shoulders. Even those that love me, will agree that I am difficult to describe. I am passionate about a lot things. My children. I have four of them, almost grown, and they are fantastic. I believe one of them may have had a hand in the first meetville disaster. I am not sure if I should ground her or thank her. Travel. I have been blessed with a cool job and an adventurous spirit that has enabled me to see the world - the good, the bad and the ugly. I love it all. Food. I am a self professed food snob which is not to say I only appreciate expensive food. Don't get me wrong, I love a great evening out at a fine restaurant, but I have also had my fair share of killer street food. I love to cook and my idea of a perfect evening is a kitchen full of hungry friends. Well, hungry friends that bring great wine - that is perfect. Sweat. Yeh, you heard me. I like to work out, play hard and get wet. Adventure. I am always willing to try new things and though I am famous for getting into trouble - falling off things (I am a bit of a spazz), getting into mischief or just finding myself in rather curious situations, I have not regrets. I may need constant supervision and protection, but I have no regrets. I appreciate great movies, though they are few and far between (the great ones) and I am always looking to read something new. I'm not a big fan of TV and find that I can usually find something much more productive to do with my time. I like most music, though I have to confess to a secret crush on Country. I may or may not have a very cool t- Design. I love great fashion and great design and I appreciate it even more when you don't spend a lot of money to achieve it. Words. I value great writing and I love to write. I am frustrated by pretence, intolerance and judgement. I am also not a big fan of diet soda, margarine, fast food, Walmart and bad shoes. Sadly, I am guilty of using and abusing them all, but I strive for better. I am just a simple human.A great guy? Someone who is smart, globally aware, travelled, open minded, and passionate. Someone who can laugh at themselves and, more importantly, laugh at me. You will definitely need to be able to do that. Someone who can make me laugh. Someone who will take risks, but also put time and effort in when it's needed. Someone who is fearless - or strives to be. I realize that's a tall order. Someone who would crash in a youth hostel and enjoy a bed with ***count sheets. Someone who loves food, but appreciates that life is about moderation - there may be a tread mill or bike ride at the end of your day. Someone who is honest - with themselves and those they love. Someone who knows who they are and likes themselves and someone who is always willing to learn something new. Someone who is headed in a positive direction: forward.And if that great guy becomes a great partner, I will fill in the blanks later. They aren't very complicated, but they are important. ;-) Or whatever!

In life and. Love...I have learned a few things in the process of dating. 1. I need to be with someone who is open and honest! 2. I need my space but I also need to feel connected to the man in my life. 3. Text messages as a primary means of communication is for pre teenagers not adults. I love to laugh! I work hard and play harder. I love to be outdoors and anything from swinging in my hammock in the backyard reading a good book to snowboarding down a 6 mile run. Fitness and health are important to me but I’m not obsessive about it. I travel internationally (been most every where) for work and prefer international vacations. I admit that I am self dependent, strong minded person, who is intelligent but I prefer to bust up laughing over something super silly. I am direct, honest, passionate, and sexual, I trust and love easily, never take myself to serious, and hold no value for material things. Although I like shoes! Caution: I spell deplorably! But I am kind of good at math. What I am looking for in a man:I want a man who is tall(I'm 5'2" so tall is relative), handsome, sexy, smart, sarcastic, adventurous, fun and fit (not in that order :) fun and sarcasm win bonus points ). It's hard to describe the perfect man but someone with a sparkle in your eye. Someone who works because you love what you do and know the balance between money and living life. Someone who will respect my drive and crazy ass ideas and on a moments notice will say "what the heck" and go on a nutty adventure to no place important but a place where we can be together! Someone who will teach me and be interested in learning from me. Someone who laughs easy. Someone who is not afraid of love or intimacy! Oh and pretty please don't be married! Let me say it straight Gents! Single woman find married or separated men boring! We are not on this site to find the man if our dreams only to then meet his loving wife! Come on! Really?
