I'm here for the same reason many others, who are actually genuine :) are ..... to meet somebody that is interested in a relationship - and is willing to put in the time and effort that is required. Sense of humour is really important to me! Realizing more and more that this is a quality that I need in a partner ....Oh, and the "describe your personality in one word" MANDATORY section ..... I chose vegetarian ... I'm not - lol, but I didn't like any of the others .....I am a quiet woman who has a lot of passion. I think I have a great smile, and I would like to find a man who can make me want to use it often. I am a good listener, and enjoy great conversation and lots of laughs. I may be quiet, but I am anything but passive. If you tread on me you'll know it. But if you are gentle and kind with me, I will be incredibly wonderful to you. I'm simply a good woman in search of a good man. If I don't respond to your message, please don't take that as being rude .... I just know what I'm looking for, and don't want to waste your time, or mine :)

Looking for: man. In age: 44-54
Really don't enjoy the "on-line dating" scene - but I guess one has to start somewhere. At a point in my life where I know what I want, and I wont settle for anything less than that. Have a lot to offer and would hope my potential partner would as well. Not where I pictured I would be at this point in my life. Looking to share the next stage of my life with a great guy. Someone who knows the difference between fact and fiction, someone who is ready to share their life with someone. Someone who knows that at the end of the day the only thing we have left is our integrity. Someone who treats people like they want to be treated. Someone who enjoys spoiling their partner as much as being spoiled by their partner. Someone who doesn't believe that everything in life is disposable. Someone who is true to their word and does what they say they are going to do. Do you like to travel? Do you like to hop in the car and venture out for the day to places unknown? Would you rather mow the lawn than shovel snow off the driveway? Do you believe there is no such thing as a bad day at the lake? Are you past the point in your life where camping involves sleeping in a tent? Does that first sip of Tim's put a smile on your face? Is on-line dating a tool to find someone rather than a way of life? Is your goal to get off on-line dating? Not into playing mind games, not interested in someone who thinks its okay to lie, cheat, and generally treat people poorly. I am looking for a partner ? someone to share life with ? the good and the bad. It's almost like we live in a disposable society right now. Everything is disposable it seems. I have no desire to have a disposable relationship - relationships take work, they are an investment. I also have no desire to have an electronic relationship - so if you have no desire or intention to ever meet in person - then I am not the person for you. If you are in any way attached - I am not interested in meeting you. I have every intention of meeting in person - its the only way to know if there is anything worth pursuing and investing in. "If you cant handle me at my worst ? you don't deserve me at my best." THINGS TO REMEMBER1. No man or woman is worth your tears, and the one who is, won't make you cry. 2. Just because someone doesn't love you the way you want them to, doesn't mean they don't love you with all they have. 3. A true friend is someone who reaches for your hand and touches your heart. 4. The worst way to miss someone is to be sitting right beside them knowing you can't have them. 5. Never frown, even when you are sad, because you never know who is falling in love with your smile. 6. To the world you may be one person, but to one person you may be the world. 7. Don't waste your time on a man/woman, who isn't willing to waste their time on you. 8. Maybe God wants us to meet a few wrong people before meeting the right one, so that when we finally meet the person, we will know how to be grateful. 9. Don't cry because it is over, smile because it happened. 10. There's always going to be people that hurt you so what you have to do is keep on trusting and just be more careful about who you trust next time around. 11. Make yourself a better person and know who you are before you try and know someone else and expect them to know you. 12. Don't try so hard, the best things come when you least expect them to. REMEMBER: WHATEVER HAPPENS, HAPPENS FOR A REASON.
