About Me

I am certainly not your "typical" woman in many ways. I am physically strong, smart, and don't judge a man (or anyone else, for that matter) on what he does for a living, or how much money he makes. I enjoy a variety of interests, including camping, working on cars, reading, and trying out new and wonderful ethnic food. I am an introvert, and enjoy activities that don't involve crowds - if your idea of camping includes going out in the bush with 20 of your "best buddies", I'm afraid that isn't my thing. Introverts are drained of energy while with people, and recharge while alone. Animals, especially cats, are a large part of my life, both at home and in volunteer work. Unfortunately, if you don't like cats (or other animals), we will not be a match.As my stats say, I am 6' tall - I have sparkling green eyes, and long red hair nearly past my butt. I am not a skinny little chickie-poo, as you can see from my picture - I have no idea what I weigh, but am very healthy. I have great close vision, but require glasses for everything else (driving, TV, etc.). I don't normally wear frilly clothing, and value comfort over style. I do like to paint my own nails sometimes, and usually wear some makeup. I do have a number of tattoos (nine, I think), and have my nose and ears pierced. I look MUCH younger that my age - I am often mistaken for 30.Since my job requires several hours a day behind the wheel, I enjoy listening to my MP3 player, and have a large variety of music on it. I am not a huge fan of reggae, rap, or new country.As you may have noticed, I am quite tall - I am not all hung up on the notion that the man must be taller than the woman.; tall would be logistically difficult, unless we are a really great match in other ways. While men complain that women lie about their weight, I find that men lie about their height. I've noticed that many men, as long as they are over 5'9", claim to be 6'. Be the height you claim to be, or I'll wonder what else you're lying about.I couldn't care less about baldness/hair colour/eye colour, but find bad, filthy teeth to be a major turn-off. It doesn't matter to me if your teeth are your own, or dentures, but they must be clean and decent-looking.-no for me - Another deal-breaker is a person who is a compulsive liar. We've all known someone like this - they claim to have worked for 10 years at this job and that job, and if you add them all up they are 90 years old, lol. Just a hint for those who have this problem - we can tell you're lying, but are too polite (or we don't care) to argue with you.I enjoy a variety of TV shows, including Sons of Anarchy, True Blood, Walking Dead, Criminal Minds, Ink Masters, Law and Order SVU, and more. As you may have noticed, I don't smoke or drink - I haven't smoked in 9 years, or had a drink in 10 years. I don't mind if you are a true social drinker, but I am NOT interested in dating someone with an untreated addiction.
