I have found myself at a good place in life right now. Down-sized and simplified my life, and I'm really enjoying that. I'm looking to find someone that I really click with that will hopefully develop into a long-term relationship. I've finally figured out that I'm just not good at the whole casual dating, no commitment thing. As I read in one profile, I'm not built to be alone, but I now know I don't NEED a relationship to survive. It's definitely better to share your life with someone that you really click with though. I am the type of girl who is effectively charming and full of wit. I can keep you laughing and on your toes. I am chatty and playful. My humor tends to have a sarcastic edge to it, but it is all in good fun. I have a pretty strong personality, but my heart is sincere and compasionate. I'm really an ol softie, just don't let eveyone see that. The man who strikes me is genuinely funny and possesses a certain sort of confidence, as opposed to arrogance. He is smart, makes conversations spirited and enjoyable, and has that air of charm about him. He will have a quick wit and his humor will always keep me on my toes! If he loves kids, he gets bonus points! Although my children are grown, they are the center of my world and will forever remain that way. The man for me is comfortable in any social setting, from an elegant dinner out to cheering on the home team at a Saturday night hockey game! Other than that, I want a man who knows how to have fun, but also understands the importance of respect and treating people the way that you want to be treated. Bonus if you love wine! I'd prefer to do a nice drink somewhere, maybe dinner if the drink goes well.

"We shall never know all the good that a simple smile can do." I love to laugh and enjoy the company of a few good friends and family. My work keeps me busy when it needs to and allows for downtime. I'm not one for the endless night life or 'friends' list so you will most likely find me with a good book/movie, listening to my latest favorite song, in the kitchen cooking or absorbing the good vibes someplace near the water...What am I looking for? A man with an open heart and mind who is willing to take the time and make an effort to get to know a woman. We all have a story to tell and our own happy ending in mind- turning the page to see what happens next is the fun part.... Will it be a short story? A novel? The first date could be of many options.... Coffee, dinner, music, walk in the park etc.
