About Me

I am a very strong woman with ethics, a great mom with two out of three grown, a big hearted giver and I love deeply Agape-with the whole self. I can cook very well, find humor in the darkest day, know how to endure hardship, have great patience, and am a down to earth person capable of good conversation. I am passionate about things close to me but liberal in acceptance of others. I am casual and real and I have high standards but am not high maintenance. I work with handicapped children and I like the giving quality of my job. I plan to return to school soon to continue my education. I like my life to have mysteries, justice, fairness, good ethics, spicy food, seafood, rewarding work , exercise, beauty/art, spending time with good souls, ...and a bit of spirituality infused in it all...whats missing is that one person who makes it all 3D. I do not have a Cinderella complex. I don't want to be rescued. I want a relationship that recharges me to face my individual challenges, not fix them for me. I want someone to walk beside me not lead me by the nose or drag me along behind.That said, I am an adult and I need adult companionship. However, I do not hook up or move in that direction quickly. I have two things to face right now and it is hard to face them alone. The two things are that I am struggling with a hip problem so far not diagnosed but it slows me down a bit physically, the other is that I am trying to recover finacially from divorce and increase my income-I am job searching, but I do have a job. And when I need him most, he has to be there for me. With all that being said, I am rather laid back and do not get upset too easily. I love to laugh and feel happy. I want to enjoy life as much as possible and try to stay active. If you are a couch potato you are probably not for me. I don't mind staying in at night or for a few days, but I get antsy if cooped up for too long. I like doing things on the weekends at the very least.I'm not too shallow. That being said, I want to be attracted to you. Someone who is similarly attractive would be ideal. I want to be attracted to your face and personality first. I'm sorry if this offends some but it is what it is and how I feel.Because of my last relationship, it is probably best I seek someone who will want to be friends with me first. If a relationship is meant to be, it will be. So if you can't envision being friends with me first and foremost, look elsewhere. I'm not in a rush to jump into anything and repeat my mistake. I will know if you care, and this time, I'm not going to rely on hope that I see something in you that really isn't there. If you really care, it will show...in your actions. I'm pretty easy-going so almost anything works. Bowling, miniature golf (I'm not a golfer), pool, Dave & Busters, inline skating, riding a bike along a lake, going to the zoo...things of that nature. Never been zip lining. That would rock! An exhibit or museum is also great.
