I am divorced 5 years with two children (son 13 and daughter ***that are the joy of my life. If I had to describe myself, I would say that I am intelligent, fun, caring almost to a fault, sensitive, romantic, artistic and with a bit of harmless sarcasm. I LOVE romance. I have integrity, character, passion for life, and I believe you should never sweat the small stuff. I'm definitely the one avoiding drama! On the physical appearance subject - I'm a tall 5'8" and I jokingly say I'm 6 feet with heels and hair! So to the the men that say they are 5'10" (and under) I may possibly end up taller than you when and if we meet! You have been warned! :) Hey -.. if you didn't like her then... there really is... Just. No. Hope! LOL! I am a blend of old fashioned values with my own style. My ideal date can range from watching a football game to a candlelight dinner with lots of laughter. A healthy dose of flirting is a requirement for all activities! ;) I have varied interests that range from horse back riding to sports enthusiast. I rode horses professionally all over the country for 25 years and loved it. I've learned to love watching football since my son started playing almost 7 years ago. I didn't know what I was missing! I've worked out my entire life, mainly due to my former profession, and I still carve out about an hour and a half everyday to run and workout--don't feel right if I don't do it. I enjoy the benefits of staying fit. I enjoy working in the yard, watching my son's sports activities and anything outdoors. My life is pretty normal and and I'm looking for someone to share it with. There is plenty of room for someone special. My daughter is 18 and in college on full scholarship. My son is 13 and plays just about every sport (FOOTBALL season is finally here AGAIN!) so I spend a lot of time in my lawn chair watching games/practices and I thoroughly enjoy it. I admit, I probably spend more of the game talking than watching (except, of course, when my son is playing) And for you football fanatics, my son is a starter both sides full back and linebacker. I am looking for someone that appreciates and notices the little things that make a difference in a friendship first, then maybe more. I'm quite romantic and affectionate and am looking for the same. I'd like to meet a genuine, honest, fun person who will let me be a "real woman" because I sooo love being a girl. I am also very independent and am not looking for a relationship to define my being. We both must have our own interests and hobbies while supporting the other in their interests. I know looks aren't everything (but they sure do help! LOL!***but it's how the other person makes you feel. The qualities that I find attractive in a man are honesty, integrity, self assurance, ability to laugh at themselves and being comfortable in their own skin. I respect someone that can be strong and choose the high road in any situation. He must have a strong moral compass and smell good too... (Just threw that one in there to wake you up) LOL! Basically I'm looking for someone who has their priorities in order and knows how to treat a lady. I want to find someone that carries on a conversation where we both ask each other questions ***sided conversations are just too much work! It's take two! When I find him or he spots me, he will be treated so very well and we will have so much FUN!!If you have similar interests and aren't afraid of an independent thinker that is compassionate, giving, affectionate and fun I'd love to hear from you. After an initial short meeting, I prefer a first date to be dinner at a more casual restaurant with a lighter atmosphere. The candle light dinner with soft lighting can wait... I'd like us to be able to talk and laugh and get to know each other with no pressure. This is where the healthy dose of flirting would come in handy. ;)

    I'm an intelligent beautiful women who would like a close male friend to do things with.. go out ..Movies, dinner, dancing.. some Karaoke maybe. I also love the outdoors, camping .. water!! Pool, rivers, lakes .. oceans.. whatever. I love music enjoy singing and listening to others sing and make music!! I don't think there is much I can't do if I put my mind to it. I just replaced 3 light switches in my house all by myself. I mow my lawn, I can check my own oil in my car. I know how to use power tools. You do what you have to do.. when you need to do it. Which is not to say that I'm not as feminine as the next girl.. because that would be a huge understatement. If you'd rather mow the lawn and check my oil.. hey .. I'm all for that! I am a secretary so I also dress up for work and I don't like to go to the store without makeup and fixing my hair so I guess with me.. you get the best of both worlds. I would like to add that I wonder why some men don't put pictures up and think that a women will respond to a profile with no face to it. It is sad in some ways that we only have faces and words to go by because there is so much more to a person then that. Your voice, charm, how you present yourself, your character .. the total package per say really adds or takes away from that tiny picture and what you choose to say about yourself. As for what I want in life. After a very long marriage and divorce .. what I want is love... romance and cuddling with a life long Friend. If you can accept my imperfections and appreciate my strengths I will do the same for you. :-) I am looking for someone to let me get to know them and take the time to get to know me. Two way Communication is Key. Its hard to say what I would want a first date to be. I want to first meet someone before I decide if I really want to go on a date date I guess. So a first date I think just coffee somewhere or a drink somewhere public would be a good start. I need physical attraction but that kind of attraction doesn't just mean how someone looks.. its also how they interact and communicate.. your intellectual self. :-) As for a date date... I enjoy going out and singing karaoke but that would only be fun if you enjoy that sort of thing. I also like going to the movies, dinner, dancing or any type of entertainment. Even a visit to the beach or some other outside location for a walk would be fun for me. An art show or exhibit of some kind. I'm not hard to please... if I care about you, it doesn't really matter where I am. Just spending time together is all that matters.
