Before you read all the wonderful things about me, let me just say I am recently, legally separated, but we have been emotionally and physically separated for a very, very long time. My ex and I are on good terms and the divorce is very amicable, we get along fine,so there is no drama there. I believe that we need to let go of the past in order for us to have a future. I believe that I'm not too old to feel like a school girl when I'm with the right man. I want to hang out with my man, I want to stay home with my man, hold hands, kiss, have fun and I won't give up until I find that, and, even though I want all that, I do have my own life,and enjoy my alone time. I have plenty of friends, and I'm not really looking for more friends, I know being friends with your partner is important, but I'm really not looking for JUST friendship. Now that we got that out of the way here are all the wonderful things about me; I am sarcastic, witty, emotional, jealous, fun loving, quirky, sensitive, loyal and trust worthy. I don't like anything forced, I like when it just comes naturally. I love my friends and family and my little dog. My teenage girl lives with me, we get along great and we have so much fun together . I'm a bit shy at first but once you get to know me, I'm alot of fun. I love keraoke, (but never spell it the same way twice, cause I don't think I really know how to) I think I'm a singer!!! I like T.V. I am a summer person, especially summer nights, there is just that perfect smell in the air. Not too crazy about the winter, but I eventually adjust. I'm a true blue Italian. I have a few tattoos. I love having great conversations. I can be stubborn, I can be competitive.I like being with someone that I'm compatible with, that makes me giddy and gives me the butterfly feeling! I think the connection between two humans should be there right at the first meeting, if it's not, I don't think it will come. I am looking for a take charge, funny, strong, loyal, trust worthy man, who loves to have fun. But if you're not, I forgive you! A little challenge is nice, but don't *** I like someone who likes to have fun, enjoys being around people, can take a joke, doesn't mind being teased, is a good sport, likes to go to baseball games, dance, sing keraoke, likes to take nice long drives to no where. I like someone who can have a conversation. Who can make me laugh naturally. If you are looking for a phone or text friend I'm not for you. If you are looking for a hook up, keep looking. If you are on here that means you are ready to date, no? If you are not ready why are you on a dating site? I don't think distance should be a deal breaker, I mean if you are compatible with a person, meeting in the middle on anything is always fair. No picture? Don't contact me, I just can't talk to someone I can not see. Also odd but true, I don't like to cuddle. Anything else just ask :) I usually, like to chat with a person either through text or on the phone to get a sense of feel of their personality. Then meeting for a cup of coffee some place is nice just to chat. I don't like going some place too noisy on the first date, I hate having to say "what" too many times or nodding cause I can't here you.

    Hi there,so I've just read an article about the 10 Canadian places one needs to put on their bucket list to visit. I've already been to 4 and pretty sure part of a 5th though it's been so many years, I can't really count it and will just have to go back. I'm thinking it could be a great plan and would love to share it with you. I'm busy as hell (who isn't?) but I'm not complaining as I make time for what is important: family, friends, ... you! I love to laugh, I can be quite goofy and sarcastic but I'm always looking for the positive side of life. I love to dance (well) and sing (not so well) but I won't complain if you won't. I cry when I'm happy and laugh when I'm nervous. I know that a hug and a kiss can cure just about anything. I am highly independant and know my way around a few power tools (love those). :) I give 200% to anything I believe in and try to stay optimistic and upbeat about most things (except maybe traffic jams, being a Northern girl, it is something I fear I will never get used to). I am a good person, well educated and have a rewarding career. I don't play mind games (would appreciate the same consideration), looking for same. I don't have a mental image of what you look like but then it's all about what else you have (honesty, sense of humour, confidence, happy, kind to others, trustworthy...). I'm looking for someone who will make me laugh, bonus points for making me blush, someone who is sharp-witted, shows interest in a conversation, who will banter with me, who would be ok with dancing in the kitchen, who likes to snuggle on the sofa and make my toes curl too.     I'm an intelligent beautiful women who would like a close male friend to do things with.. go out ..Movies, dinner, dancing.. some Karaoke maybe. I also love the outdoors, camping .. water!! Pool, rivers, lakes .. oceans.. whatever. I love music enjoy singing and listening to others sing and make music!! I can get dirty and rough it for a while in the great outdoors, but I also love to look nice and take care of myself. Yes I'm slightly overweight, but that is a work in progress. Hey you can't have everything! :-) .. but you can try. lol ... As for my age. I am always told I look a lot younger then I am. So turn back time a little with me and help me with my fresh start. I don't think there is much I can't do if I put my mind to it. I just replaced 3 light switches in my house all by myself. I mow my lawn, I can check my own oil in my car. I know how to use power tools. You do what you have to do.. when you need to do it. Which is not to say that I'm not as feminine as the next girl.. because that would be a huge understatement. If you'd rather mow the lawn and check my oil.. hey .. I'm all for that! I am a secretary so I also dress up for work and I don't like to go to the store without makeup and fixing my hair so I guess with me.. you get the best of both worlds. I would like to add that I wonder why some men don't put pictures up and think that a women will respond to a profile with no face to it. It is sad in some ways that we only have faces and words to go by because there is so much more to a person then that. Your voice, charm, how you present yourself, your character .. the total package per say really adds or takes away from that tiny picture and what you choose to say about yourself. As for what I want in life. After a very long marriage and divorce .. what I want is love... romance and cuddling with a life long Friend. If you can accept my imperfections and appreciate my strengths I will do the same for you. :-) I am looking for someone to let me get to know them and take the time to get to know me. Two way Communication is Key. Its hard to say what I would want a first date to be. I want to first meet someone before I decide if I really want to go on a date date I guess. So a first date I think just coffee somewhere or a drink somewhere public would be a good start. I need physical attraction but that kind of attraction doesn't just mean how someone looks.. its also how they interact and communicate.. your intellectual self. :-) As for a date date... I enjoy going out and singing karaoke but that would only be fun if you enjoy that sort of thing. I also like going to the movies, dinner, dancing or any type of entertainment. Even a visit to the beach or some other outside location for a walk would be fun for me. An art show or exhibit of some kind. I'm not hard to please... if I care about you, it doesn't really matter where I am. Just spending time together is all that matters.
