Hubby was a couch potato so I've been rather sheltered for 13 years. So all of the interests I listed are things I would like to do with someone that would like to get out and have fun doing them as well. I am willing to try most anything once....but nothing illegal, immoral or death defying! I don't drink coffee but am happy to get a Diet Coke with you while you drink yours. ;-) I've had some smokers contact me and ask if that's a deal breaker. No ifs, ands or BUTTS...definite deal breaker! I am a conservative and carry a gun, so liberals need not apply.My single friends gave me three rules: 1) don't give out your phone number until you know them, 2) always meet in a public place and don't let them see what you drive, and 3) don't sleep with them within the first 30 minutes. I've broken the first two a couple of times, but the third one I've followed without fail!Life is too short...let's have some fun! "Meet and greet" somewhere for a drink, alcoholic or not, so we can talk and get to know one another. And unless you're a millionaire I prefer to go Dutch. If you offer to pay, then I won't argue, but my preference is to pay for my own. ;-)

I'm pretty genuine. I was raised on a farm and taught good morals, honesty is best and most of all to be happy. I like to laugh and I try to find the good in everything or everybody. I love my family. Family & friends are very important to me. My son is 22 and my daughter is 20 and I love them both very much. My daughter lives with me and we've had a big adjustment since the loss of their dad. Being single and widowed at 42 yrs. old was not exactly what I had in mind for myself, but God had different plans.
