About Me

I am a down-to-earth, easy-going, family oriented kind of woman. I grew up on a farm, in a large family, where I learned the value of pitching in and helping others. I love being active, outdoors and I am looking for a guy to share activities with, but he doesn't have to have the same interests. I am willing to try new things. With this turning point, I'm taking a kind of sabbatical from teaching in the elementary school classroom. My farm girl work ethic and my deep caring for each and every student, didn't always fit well with my role as a single Mom. I'm now looking to take life less seriously, make family and friends a priority and live in the moment! I am hoping to travel more, learn a new language and add a special person to my life who can make me smile and laugh.
