UPDATE: Please read as it is very important - I prefer men that are sized proportionately, not that you have to be built like Mr. Clean but, I'm not into overweight men. If you can't see your toes while standing up straight, you're not my type. Also, I DO NOT date black men. I DO still believe there is someone out there for me and isn't afraid to show it. I have a great group of friends but have yet to find that "special someone". I am very outgoing, fun loving, compassionate, warm, & ROMANTIC. I like everything from concerts to gardening, traveling, and BOATING! And yes there is such a thing as a girl that actually likes action movies, power tools, and cars. I'm more of a t-shirt and ponytail kinda girl but, give me a reason to wear that little black dress! I love dressing up! I want the man I am with to feel proud to be by my side and vice-versa. I take a lot of pride in my appearance. I am responsible, down to earth, funny, sarcastic & silly. I still believe in love and passion, holding hands, and public displays of affection. I feel if you're in love and happy, there's no shame in showing it! (As long as it's not to the point of mauling! Lol!) I like dining out, or cooking at home, (hopefully you're a good cook!! I'll prep & clean) with that someone special! A fire, a good bottle of wine, and intelligent or witty conversation sounds like a pretty good evening to me! The question is, does it to you?????When I'm dating I want to spend time with that person. I do not work an 8- I love music! All kinds except classical and I LOVE to dance. It would be AWESOME if you did too!!!What peaks my interest? A man that is strong yet can be tender, capable & caring, and not afraid to show how they feel. Someone that is NOT afraid to wrap you up in their arms and just be a shelter from everything for just a bit. I like a good sense of humor, whether dry or outright silly. He's got to love to laugh! I'd like to find someone special that is honest, forthright, passionate, diverse. All this is kind of a wish list, there are so many combinations that can be appealing. Any place we can sit and talk for a while.

I like to go on long walks, enjoy nature, read, watch movies & go out to lunch with friends. I've been a single parent of 3 active kids for 7 years, working hard to be there for them so they can enjoy things I never was able to when I was a kid. We don't buy all the latest gadgets & try to keep things somewhat simple, but enjoy spending time together in our cozy, warm home & love to entertain by inviting friends & family over often.My faith is important to me . . . we attend church weekly & attend various church events throughout the year. I lead 2 faith based after school clubs & enjoy growing in my faith as I teach kids to be disciples of Jesus. My kids are active in both their church & school youth groups as well as athletics. In this family, we love soccer!! Two of my kids play pretty much year round (indoor & outdoor) and my oldest plays volleyball & is considering trying out for soccer this year too.My parents had 4 children & are divorced. My mom remarried & had to additional children, therefore, I am the oldest of 6, We regularly get together with family for holidays, birthdays & more. I work as a office manager at a church (not the one we attend) & love handling all the aspects of the office, especially the creative projects, flyers, newsletters, etc. I really enjoy my job & love the perk that it's only 2 blocks from my home. I also work part time for a Christian agency that melds my love of working with the youth & leadership. My responsibilities include planning lessons & teaching kids about the word of God while having fun.I mostly listen to Christian Radio, but occasionally listen to the top ***thanks to my kids). We have several radio's in our home that are left on 24 hours a day playing Christian music. We are the type of people that need a radio on to fall asleep! All of my kids have played *** & enjoy singing (even if just for fun). I aspire to be a better parent tomorrow than I am today & to one day again be a part of a loving, committed, faithful, trusting relationship with a core foundation focused on good communication, mutual respect & love. ? A quiet dinner so it's condusive to talking, getting to know each other. Maybe doing something fun like mini-golf, laser tag, even bowling (I'm not very good btw). I'd also enjoy going on a walk (nature center, beach or around the neighborhood), something that may inspire more things to talk about.
