First off, I have no time for players who just want to serial date, or see how many women they can meet. I run into that too often from guys on here, and am just about ready to give up. Always seems to happen with the more attractive guys who obviously want a certain type that isn't me, like younger, prettier, whatever. They can have you. So, don't bother to message me if that's the case. Thanks. I'm 44, have two kids, a daughter, 14 and a son, 17. They live with me, but I can date. And they're with their father every other weekend. However, whomever I would potentially date would have to understand my schedule with them, (their activities) as well as the time I spend with them. I am not one of those mothers who goes out every weekend leaving my kids on their own, despite the fact that they are teenagers, or put whomever I'm dating before them, spending every weekend with him and *** kids. I like to be around for them, as I said, even though they're teens and may have other plans. So I mostly go out when they're with their dad, with an exception for something planned once in awhile, or during the week occasionally, depending on their schedules. I have brown hair, brown eyes, and am petite. I've been described as cute with a 'bubbly' personality, pretty, sexy. Don't know about those things, I'd let the guy be the judge of that. I am confident, but not conceited, and am perfectly aware that there are plenty of beautiful, sexy women out there that I can't compete with. However, as I said, I am confident, and feel good about myself and how I look and feel, being over 40. More importantly, I'm very friendly and outgoing, fun, funny, and in a relationship I am loving, sweet and affectionate, flirtatious, playful, open and honest, and say what I want and how I feel. What I don't want in a guy is someone who won't talk, or communicate, game playing, particularly messing with my head, lying, cheating, or telling me what they think I want to hear for their own selfish reasons. I want someone who makes me feel GOOD about myself, not who makes me feel unwanted and bad about myself, and hurts me or plays with my emotions. Yes, I am emotional, not a nutcase, just show my feelings and say what's on my mind. I want someone who treats me with the respect I deserve, respects my feelings, not takes advantage of them or me, and in return, they would get the same from me and much more. I am just not into getting hurt anymore. I am NOT bitter or hating men, on the contrary, I love men. :) I've just learned that I give too much sometimes to people who refuse to give back and take advantage of that, then disappear. So I'm just a bit more cautious now, simple. :) I also would like someone funny who makes me laugh and who likes to go out and have FUN, not sit around doing nothing but watching TV all the time. However, I do enjoy staying home and watching a movie sometimes too, just like everyone else. Sorry if I sound harsh, just want to be honest about where I am right now. If you're not interested, that's fine too. **There also must be a spark right away~I believe in chemistry. Having said all of that above, I certainly don't expect to jump immediately into a relationship with someone I may meet here. I don't even want that right away, frankly. I need to go slow and work towards a relationship if that happens. If I meet someone I really like, and we hang out for awhile and like eachother, and a relationship develops, that's cool too, I just don't want to dive straight into it.I like going to see bands, like just about any type of music, eating out, (like trying new places) going to fests in the summer, concerts, hanging with friends and family, sporting events, (Cubs games or Blackhawks games first two on the list) and anything else interesting and fun. I can pretty much have fun doing anything, and am not difficult to please.*If I do not answer a message, I am not interested. Not trying to be rude, it's just easier than wasting time going back and forth with explanations. I get non answers too, and I don't get offended, I move on.
