I am looking for someone who makes me laugh, I don't need a comedian, but stimulating, witty, and maybe even a bit on the sarcastic side would be nice. I want friendship and romance, all in one. I am pretty down to earth, independent, and willing to try new activities. In the summer, I love hanging out on the beach, or pool side, cookouts, and hanging with friends and family. I am just as happy at a back yard bbq, or a pub, as I am fine dining. I enjoy going out to eat or hanging at home and cooking together.I picked up golf a couple of years ago and have a blast with that. I also started cross fit and although the gym is not my favorite place to be, I love this class. My goal is the Tough Mountain Challenge, I think it would be fun, challenging, and my competitive side will be tested. Just started running and signed up for my first 5k... it is something that I have always wanted to do, now I am committed! My goal is to start getting my kids into more outside activities as a family, my kids are very active in sports, but I am trying to find more fun, outside activities for us to do together. It would be great to find someone who is looking for the same sort of thing, and doing family activities. Don't get me wrong, I have lots of free time without my kids, but when I do have them, I want to find things to do with them.

I'm lured by subjects and people that sit somewhat on the edge of convention, people who aren't afraid to debate an issue on one hand while also being able to switch off and simply be. I can move with ease from being sassy and irreverent to being elegant and articulate.My playground has both swings and roundabouts, from late nights and good music (predominantly rock and some blues through soul, Motown and electronica l to perhaps prokofiev's dance of the knights -- but come around in time. (i'm just using joe to try and get across an idea of one perspective) not in looks as such nor in music but in attitude, who have grown in 'years' but remain 'tuned' in, to ideals, to thought, to literature, to the bigger picture yet can tune out and let the white noise descend. who simply just want to: meet someone they can have a laugh with, play air guitar, take a trolley ride, sing out loud in the car.....one last thing - I understand that, for various reasons, some people may not have a public profile pic...but it's only fair to send one if you do message me. I don't like responding to 'non visual' entities... no ideal - maybe a 'non-date'? an environment in which both can be as close as possible to whom they're comfortable 'being'
