Just to get right down to it, I am interested having in a long-term relationship that will hopefully lead to marriage and family with, to quote Marc Cohen, a "true companion". That's the serious side of things. But I am far from believing that a relationship should be serious and/or boring. I'm not just looking for a life partner, but also a tango partner, a travel companion, a hiking buddy, a game/mini-golf/wii competitor, etc. While I love a great movie as much as the next person, I think it's worst thing for a first date. Having coffee is a great first meeting, but a first date should incorporate an enviroment that promotes good conversation along with doing something fun and different. And yes, this is me throwing down the gauntlet...the rest is up to you;)
