About Me

I've been frequently told, "What doesn't kill you makes you stronger." I think that qualifies me as an Amazon Warrior. But I am also fiercely loyal, will fight to the death for those I love or a cause I believe is worthy. That's the tygress in me.) More often than not though, I find a peaceful solution to my problems and the problems for which I am asked to mediate. My faith is very important to me, and I would like to meet someone who shares that faith.I love trying to play tennis, going bowling, watching a good movie with lots of action or drama (not too big on chick flicks), or going swimming. In the summer or warm spring day, I love to go out on the lake, go for a boat ride, cooking out and relax around a good fire eating too many marshmellows with close family and friends. My most frequent outdoor activity is hiking out behind my home, typically in shorts and barefoot. When you get down to it, I was born and raised country and I'll be country til the day I die. There I learned to interact with people from all types of socio- As I mentioned, I love going barefoot in shorts and a tank top, but I also wear business suits for work. I can also dress up and be comfortable doing it.I believe relationships are about more than who makes you feel good in the short term. Good relationships are about being with someone you love even when they royally tick you off. When it is truly right, being with the right one for you brings out the best in you and helps you be a better person. And at the end of the day, nothing makes you feel better than just being with each other, no matter what you're doing.Someone recently put me back in touch with poetry writing."Listen to the Wolf Cry"Listen to the wolf cry, For she cries all night for you. Chances left untaken, Unanswered challenges scattered by the way. "Your life is going nowhere!" Is what she thinks but does not say. Answer the call within you, Embrace life with open arms. Become the one you were born to be, So the wolf will cry no more. Adventure, laughter and a good connection. I can handle the ever so awkward meeting over caffeine and appetizers and chit chatting. But I would love to try something like ziplining or some other adventurous activity. If the date doesn't exactly spark a match, at least you'll have fun and you won't spend 20 minutes trying to figure out something to fill the silence. Though that would be very rare with me. I can talk about just about anything. I love expanding my mind, to learn to see things through another's eyes. And I listen even better than I talk. But my vote is still for the adventuresome date. Why be like everyone else? But, if you feel safer with a traditional meet and greet, I can handle that too.

    I love spending time with my niece & nephew. I have never been married & I spoil them & give them back. I do love kids & love to buy them presents. I also love all animals. Being a Occupational Therapist makes me leary of things that you can get hurt seriously. I plan to broaden my horizons as I get older. I plan to become certified in accupressure & other alternative medicine.; Temple University here in City. I have been practicing in my field for more than 15 years. I will be 40 this March, however people tell me I can pass for late 20's. I am in good physical shape from the work I do. I am very active person & always running here & there. I have a lot of very close dear friends, I consider family & a great family/support system. I am a confident person & I dont get jealous very easily. I do like attention & especially from my man. The little things are important. Touching hands in movie theater, leaving a note on the car, not all the time, just every now & then. I like to make people laugh & feel good. I am very giving & feel I need to find another giver to give back. I am tired of having people take & feel we dont come close to being even with give & take. I am understanding & favor. I am honest & come from a family with outstanding morals. My parents have been together since 9th grade & are still married. I have one sister & one brother both younger than I & married. I will not settle & I will not marry UNLESS ITS RIGHT. How will I know when its RIGHT!....People tell me you will just know. Unfortunately for me, I have not been that luck. I have had several long term relationships, that were bad timing, bad choices, bad luck?.....Well I believe it takes two people to make a realationship work, im tired of doing all the work. I deserve a great MAN & Lover. I give 100% to my realtionships with men, firends, family. I believe in treating people the way you want to be treated. REspect is the most important factor. Humor is very important to me:) ....I also bowl, shoot darts & love a game night, cards, quizzo, etc.... I am to good to be true. So, where is my Man I'm looking for a equal partner. Not for the insecure men to apply. Trust is something you will have with me (from me) & is always necessary in a relationship. Secrets are not good, open communication is always required, mixed signals is very easy for men & women. It is a fact: We do not think a like, so why fight it....
