About Me

I'm sorry but I won't respond to the "meet me" so please step up and ***, it's a free site after all....I've had wanderlust since my teens; I immerse myself in the places I go, learning about the food, culture and people. I take my camera with me as it reminds me to look at the world from different perspectives and to bring some of myself to and from the places I go. I have more brain cells than pairs of shoes, and do not freak out if I chip a nail. That being said, I am not a tomboy. My style is elegantly sexy and I grew up in a family that puts greater value on integrity and practicality than vanity and labels. I am straightforward, intellectual, spontaneous, self-confident, compassionate and have an insatiable curiosity. I exercise regularly (mostly strength training and yoga, which keeps me strong and focused..and I can stand on my head!) I am toned but will always have curves. I can be reserved at first, but when comfortable, am very open, warm and romantic.I started my own company three years ago and am looking for an equal partner to enjoy theater, museums, exploring the world, long walks in the park, dining out, wine tasting, movies, weekend getaways (yes, I can hike and hang out in the jungle too), and lazy Sundays..and perhaps even more. I have a basenji puppy -- no yappy fluffy dog here. He's hunter, racer and clown all rolled into one. I know there are habitual daters out there. Not me. I am looking for an honest, fun, grounded and ethical guy to develop something special with and who views intelligence and strength in their partner as assets. Although I may come across as a ducks-in-a-row kinda gal, I do prefer a partner who is not afraid to take the lead.     Well, I would love to meet someone that treats people well, that loves to be pampered and taken care of, but that also takes care of me! I have a passion for photography and I custom mat and frame my work for sale also. I love animals and I foster small animals for a local rescue; currently we are fostering a guinea pig! I have spent enough time in my life being treated 'ok', I'd like someone to treat me as well as I treat them. I have a 9 year old daughter and she is amazing! We workout together, play ball, all of our hobbies are shared! I like my alone time too but I love to spen time with the person I care about. I love compliments and I love giving them....I think it is important to let someone know that you appreciate them and you like what they look like, how they smell, how they speak and whatever else. It is good to take time to notice the good things about each other! I could spend all day on a boat fishing or hours hiking in the woods hunting. I started hunting just this past year; grouse, pheasant and deer...I really enjoyed the sport of it, but I only hunt things we can consume. I do not believe in wasting the meat...even if it's just to give it away! How am I unique.....well, you probably know some, but one thing that really stands out is that I am old fashioned about how I treat my man. As long as he treats me well, I am all about him! I also love to go out to the club dancing! Anyway, there's a lot more, but we have to leave some to learn later....haha Hmmmmmm, well first date fishing would be nice....talking and catching fish, having fun or just sitting in a boat on the lake all day enjoying learning new things about each other! Maybe pack some sandwiches and have a picnic. I'm really not that difficult....I guess I would leave it up to him and hope to be swept away....haha that was a joke :)

    -I work hard to be a good daughter, sister, aunt, friend, teacher, and mentor. Sometimes I make it, sometimes I don't!-One of my favorite things to do is spend time with my dog and two cats, who make me smile when nothing else seems to.-Home is a house that is ***years old and on three acres.
