This was my original post two-plus years ago when I signed up: " Looking for a long term - it doesn't have to mean marriage...but I want someone who wants to actually DO boyfriend things! Hang out, go places..... I do not want a friend with benefits.... If it's going to work, I come with two little boys and a big black lab...and I want that person to actually WANT to know about the boys ...not just know about me :) Sexy to me means...more than physical..I want someone who can get attached emotionally, who is smart and motivated, who I can have conversations with or just watch a movie and share some wine. Is it asking too much to want to finally feel like a princess? ha ha....well?"So after a few years of dating here and there, meeting interesting people who stayed in my life....and quickly did not...even though some of us never even met..ie. a guy who who owns a PT/Massage therapy business who I never met (you know who you are) but over the short years gave me advice about whatever I needed, and the guy I met once but only once who became the only knowledgeable one to give me the best and most profitable financial advice, etc...I made friends, I made simple "acquaintances" and in one *** short term relationship turned in to what is most likely a life long friendship... I had one real long term ...10 months anyway....my record.. ... and he was not a guy from meetville ...but he was great and wonderful to me and my boys....and I just dont know... We ended it mutually and for personal reasons. I guess I learned that putting in that "I want a long term relationship" thing is harsh but this site doesn't give you detailed options. I think I know what I want in a man.... but ...I know I won't settle because even if my boys really like that guy....(of course i want only the best for my kids!) but when they leave for college years later....it's me and that guy....and I want it to work in a chemical, loving, best-friend, physical/sensual/sexual way. I hope I don't sound selfish....not sure I'm explaining it all but I'll be honest at this point....Relationships...I'm not sure I know what I want in a relationship...I just hope it comes some day and "boom"...I just know it's whatever it should be ........ I learned that I need a companion, a best friend...but one who is also attracted to me in so many more depths ....and can talk about anything....someone who loves me first (so we dont get wrapped up in family life before we know each other one on one, ...next phase...that person wants to love my boys and supports the life I lead and the structured way I can be sometimes so I can be everything to my family ..I'm the mom and the dad, and I work hard ...(freaking 100,***times that I hear..."but it's only 99 Cents!" downloads.....) ...etc I am a person who needs personal space and time alone with my kids.....go out on boys night! Just be happy. I need my time, too. I'm not a jealous person .....if you're trustworthy. I will give 110% and I hope it's reciprocated....unconditionally. So this is my latest attempt at updating my profile. Be true to thyself. Ps. I'm a Taurus ... Not sure why meetville picked up Gemini .... meet for coffee or drinks ....a meet-&-greet and figure out if there's a second date at hand....you pretty much know in the first 10 seconds.......

Ok so I love to laugh, live music, sports (hockey, baseball, basketball and football), fast cars (mscle cars) and anything having to do with water. I also love to travel and have done a lot of that but it was pretty much all domestic. Someday I hope to get to explore Europe, Africa and Asia. There isn't a type of music I don't listen to. I swear I have the most diverse play lists on the planet. I would love to meet someone that is up for enjoying the moment, having fun and laughing. Please be passionate about something! I thrive on learning new things and love adventure. I love to read - especially on the beach or on a plane. As far as movies go I will pretty much watch anything except chick flics. I am more of an action/drama/comedy person. I have also been known to watch a foreign film now and then. For food, well the fresher the better and I try to eat healthy. I love to cook but never cook for myself. Ok so I am weird. LOL I am also a painter ande have a great appreciation for the arts. The beach, the stars, sunsets/sunrises, camping, a fire pit, good friends, animals, museums, living life is all good. TV --O and Criminal Minds. I am not looking for a one night stand or a FWB. Sex can be amazing with the right person but requires a connection. Anything else you want to know? Feel free to ask… ...a great first date would be watching a game at a sports bar- relaxing enviroment where we could talk and get to know each other without pressure. Of course if you are a yankee fan then the game can't be baseball. I am a Red Sox fan but the Rangers are my second favorite team. As for other sports hockey is my first love and basketball I have recently started to really like. This means I missed the Bruins parade and I pray to be forgiven by the hockey gods for that one. I prefer college football over pro. If you don't like sports, the zoo a picnic or car show are also great first date. Just be spontaneous and tell me about yourself.
