Hmmmm ... about me?... here we go ... Well for starters, like you, I am on this site to meet new people and to hopefully have some new experiences. For the most part, I spend my leisure time with friends and family and I have two children who I love to spend time with because they remind me about all the great stuff I forgot about back in grade school! I share them equally with their father, so while I am still in parenting mode, I do have time for someone special and weekend get aways are my favourite!I try to lead a healthy lifestyle and take care of myself. I also enjoy being stylish but I must admit, I am just as comfortable in a pair of jeans and a T-Shirt as I am in heels, a little black dress or a business suit.I do appreciate a man who has his own sense of style and cares about his appearance.... I am just not sure I want you to take longer to get ready than I do :) If your usual go to is a pair of jeans and a funky pair of runners or shoes then we may just be a fit. I also try and stay as physically active as possible but I am not a die hard athelete. I just believe staying fit keeps your body and spirit young. I am currently enjoying Reebok Crossfit ..."whew"!I love to entertain and cook for my friends and family and I enjoy sipping on red wine over a good conversation. I also enjoy the outdoors and have a passion for travelling, I am always willing to venture off the beaten path and I have explored parts of Europe, Latin America,South East Asia and Australia.I LOVE cottage life in the Summer and going South for some beach time in the Winter.Ultimately, I am looking to find someone who is healthy, happy and at a good place in life. Someone who is fun loving, affectionate and who doesn't take themselves too seriously because I love to laugh and be goofy from time to time.My goals or aspirations? I'm a conversationist, a thinker, a doer. My goals in life are to experience new things, meet new people, and travel different places. I am highly curious, love to laugh, and have an easiness with people. I can safely say I don't do drama and my friends always know they will get an honest, straightforward answer to anything they ask me. I'm looking for someone who has a sense of adventure, shares some interests and would like to share their interests as well. It's my assertion if we make it to a first date but the chemistry isn't quite there, at the very least you will leave feeling you made a worth while acquaintance. A few things about me:I am compelled to go places. Not typically a sit at home kind of girI although I find value in unwinding from time to time. My favorite book quote is by John Waters ~ “If you go home with somebody, and they don't have books, don't **** 'em!” I enjoy books that often portray the grittier aspects of life. Historical fiction is also a favorite. It's probably worth noting I am not a television watcher, but will selectively watch documentaries and movies/shows found on Netflix. I relish live music.
