I'm always surprised at how many people think it's ok to post pics that are old or don't depict you accurately. Mine do so, I figured I would clarify that upfront. :)I've heard a lot of great things about this site so here I am... I relocated to NJ from NY about 3 years ago. It's beautiful here! I'm a great Mom and provider. I enjoy time with my son, family and close friends. I appreciate good things (like fresh herbs in my salad or HDTV) but I'm not 'materialistic' and don't shop just for the sake of shopping. I live a healthy, active life. I play softball as much as I can. I golf (really for work and not often -so,I must admit, scrambles are my preference! I can drive the ball a mile but my pitching and putting lack the right 'touch'.)I am a joyful, confident person who appreciates the little things. I like to spend time on my home - whether it's decorating, fixing something or planning the next project. I have a great job and work with wonderful people. Like any career, it can be demanding at times but on the other hand, I have more balance in my life than I have had in the past; which allows me to spend quality time with my son (and significant other).I come from a traditional Italian family. I may be an independent and self-sufficient woman but I'm also old fashioned. I appreciate chivalry and a strong man.When I first meet someone new, I like to get to know the person. Dating is important to really get to know each other. A great kiss is a good way to end a night if it feels right. Once I'm in a relationship, I'm extremely affectionate, caring and attentive but I am admittedly conservative with my time and feelings until I know you and where it's going... There are so many different ways to have an amazing first date. I'm fine with meeting for a cup or coffee or a drink at first. This gives us both a chance to figure out if what we read and saw on this site is what we expected in person. (FYI - Honesty is important to me. If you say you are 6' tall and high on life, that shouldn't include standing on a step stool complaining about work or taking pain RX.) Ever notice that when there is chemistry, it doesn't matter what you are doing? The conversation flows... there's a lot of smiling and sharing... and neither one can wait for that first kiss! Sometimes, chemistry happens but not right away. That's great too. A fun first date, getting to know each other and then suddenly you can't wait for the 3rd or 4th date....

I am pretty much an open book and am very honest and down to earth kind of gal and yes I am a real lady who lives here in the area looking to meet just one special someone. Lets be clear I do not know you when we first talk or meet so I will not meet you at your place or going to your place with you or getting into your car. All of that will or may happen in good time after we get to know each other if we decide to get to know each other. It is strange being back as I remember and/or recognize some places and yet it is very different from when I left.I am looking to be able to build a real relationship with someone who is close to my age. I feel that communication is very important in a relationship both in building and keeping it strong and that to do this we should have a true genuine interest in getting to know each other as well as for being upfront and honest with each other. I do believe that it is important to be attracted to each other as well as for having chemistry.I think it would be great to one day have a relationship were we would be each other’s best friends as well as the center of each other’s lives. The kind of relationship and love where everyone else is wishing they had what we have with lots of affection and flirting and fun with each other and who truly enjoy spending time with each other yet we are ok doing stuff apart but miss each other when we are. I do love it when the guy I am with is old fashion type by opening door and taking contol while not controlling of me. If you dont know the difference then I am not sure we would be good together.Such as taking the time to plan what we are going to do or by doing small sweet little things to keep us both interested.Not looking for someone who has to have everything together in life as I do not and I think it is great to build the special life together. This is a great time in my life as this year is bringing a lot of changes and and moving forward for the good including getting ready to start working out again after I had surgery at the beginning of this year.Some of my friends have described me as caring, loving, giving and way to trusting.....lol not sure if I agree with all of that...jkIt would be great if you live near me so we can spend time together and see where it could lead to.
