If I had to peg myself, well...I was that smart girl who was awkward & shy as a kid (I used to wear a patch over one eye, had glasses & braces!) and as the years went by, well...I blossomed.So, what is YOUR story? Here's mine. I moved back to PA five years ago & now work remotely for a non-profit. I'm mainstream and conventional in a lot of ways and in other ways, not at all. I am a down-to-How else would I describe myself? I'm real, down-to-earth, middle of the road extro/introvert, passionate, no-nonsense/straight-forward/bottomline, practical, low-maintenance, educated, confident, intelligent, funny, independent, silly, cosmopolitan yet local at the same time, open-minded, hard--judgmental (except about lazy & unethical people), generous, kind, honest...a lot of people tell me that I'm the same person now as I was years ago - I take pride in that.I'm the type of girl who gets pedicures, but not manicures because I'd mess 'em up too quickly - I actually think that says a lot about me - hahaha.I see myself with a man who is attractive, educated and a professional, but has a creative spirit. If you are a run-of-the-mill conservative suit, I don't think we'll click. He is stable and successful career wise, and happy with his life personally and professionally (like I am). I like a man who has something to say - chatty even - is salt-of-the-earth/no pretenses. Hopefully you can be light-hearted, fun and we can make each other legitimately laugh! Not a deal breaker, but I also tend to like a man who has some grit and is handy - not that you have to be MacGyver but you can try.     Warm weather agrees with me. I like to be outside for cycling and tennis. The ride definitely pushed me to work on hill rides. Whew! I finished up the trip with a few days on the beac in Croatia. Go Bears! Although I really, really miss being close to the beach, DC is much more my speed. Short and sweet. Let's make the first meeting simple. A cup of coffee or a glass of wine is great for a meet up and a little conversation. If the first date goes well, we can plan something fun for our second date.
