Looking for: man. In age: 41-51
I am a fun girl! Not a whole lot more to say :) I enjoy the healthy way of life....eating right and working out. Love to go on motorcycle rides, the beach and anywhere outdoors. Love tattoos! I am a single mother of 2 children, 22 and 13. I recently got out of a relationship and am looking for new friends outside my normal circle. I'm new to the internet dating stuff. I'm not on here to hook up with anyone. I'm looking for a kind, compassionate, honest and trustworthy man to first become friends with. If there is a connection, obviously romance would follow. So, please, if you're looking for anything else, don't bother with me. Maybe have some coffee and get to know a little about each other.

Smartass. Compassionate. Low-Maintenance. Romantic. Goofy. Persistent. Loyal. Very close to my family. My parents are still married in love. Good conversationalist. Well-traveled. Well rounded. Adventurous. Love being on the berth of a sailboat. Love being on the back of a motorcycle. Effervescent. Christian. Conservative. One of the 1st things people notice about me is how comfortable they feel around me. I make almost anyone feel at ease liked. Easy going. Funny. Witty. My love of life is infectious. Energetic. Socially at ease. Likable. Comfortable in most situations:****ail party, ball game, disco dancing, opera, rock concert, taking me home to meet mom. Like Kid Rock, Metallica, Snoop Dogg. Enjoy reading Sports page of any newspaper. Anything written by C.S.-fiction or fiction). Classic literature: F. Non-fiction: History, Politics, Biography the like. Still get a kick out of Sat Morning Cartoons (favorite=Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles).I LOOK LIKE: French, Italian, Irish a little mix of all Americana. Mix of sexy, femininity, sporty, sweet, naughty, feisty (sometimes have that little mischievous sparkle in my eye or grin on my face), sophisticated, cute all rolled into one. Hey! Whatta ya' know, I'm the Spice Girls :-)YOU: I LOVE to travel. I really hope you LOVE to have the ability to travel too! You are ready to share your life w/someone meet your special someone because I'm ready hope to meet MY special someone. Someone to share life w/. Sporting events. Art exhibit. Roadtrip. Travel/vacation. Cook. Drive up/down the coast. Street festival. Try new restaurants. Someone who will be my partner in life. Don't need someone to spend ***w/. I'm a supporter of occasional guys/girls nights out as long as we make each other feel like we come 1st for the other. Nothing I appreciate more in a man than his being a gentleman - a far too often rarity these days because so many women have turned into Femi-Nazis & don't know HOW to appreciate that in a man. YOU ARE: Chivalrous. Have integrity. It means everything to you. Fun. Happy. Funny. Love to laugh. Love music. Adventurous. Christian. Politically, you're Conservative or Middle of the Road. Have 'Stick-to-it-ness'. Happy. Love life, but think life's better when it's shared. Loners & Strong Silent Types need not apply. Not AFRAID to be alone; but don't PREFER being alone & a loner over being w/family, friends, loved ones, & me :***of my favorite things to do is to try new restaurants /or REvisit restaurants I really enjoy. Sure, I do love fine dining. But that's NOT ALL I like. Trying a new restaurant could be anything from trying a new hamburger joint or food truck we heard has THE BEST burgers or tacos in town, to trying a little seafood restaurant tucked away in a residential neighborhood, to visiting one of the city's 5 star eateries. I would love to spend time w/a man who's open to sharing this passion w/me (but SO NOT a deal-breaker). I TEND not to visit chain restaurants but ABSOLUTELY NO road-trip is complete w/out a stop at In'n'Out Burger; & really, WHO can resist "Moons Over My Hammy at Denny's?! It's not WHERE/WHAT we'd do. It's about WHOM I'd be w/. One can be in the most "perfect" setting w/the "wrong person" and have an awful time. BUT, one can also be in the most "awful" setting w/the "right person" and have the most "perfect" time.- Watching sports is just about my favorite thing to do (whether it be liver - preferred - or on TV: NCAA (College Football, College Basketball), MLB, NHL, NBA, NFL. Dress up. Dress down. New restaurants. Drive up/down coast. Wine country. Dive bars. Ballet. Opera. Symphony. Art galleries. Sailboats. Motorcycles. Short- or Long-distance Traveling.

I couldn't come up with a headline for a dating website... This is one I've seen and I use it for me. I'm not an adrenaline junkie, but I try to keep pushing myself forward. Please be down to earth. Please be able to laugh, even at yourself. I'm a bit self-deprecating so... Some of the best jokes are at the expense of me or one of my friends. I can not live without music or books. I have loads of CDs and the vinyl I managed to salvage from my mother's house... The bag I carry with me tends to weigh a ton because of the books I always have tucked away in it... I don't know the first thing about a nook, etc.. I need to be able to turn the pages as I read...I like going out to eat or a concert or whatever, but I really, really like being able to be comfortable with someone hanging at home too. A night of a movie on the couch is great. Naps are good too. Silence that is comfortable... That can be a big thing.I get focused on things and want to learn about them (muscle cars), but I guess most people are like that? I'm dying of jealousy because one of my closest friends is about to buy a ***Studebaker Hawk... I love the color red (obviously), I'm kind of particular about my coffee, I have a notebook that I write down quotes I come across and love, I ran around like a maniac tomboy as a kid and have fallen out of more trees than I can count, I tend to stick pens in my hair and then wander around the rest of the day wondering what I've done with them all, I never get tired of the sound of the ocean, I like learning to do things for myself (apartment stuff, car stuff, etc.), it makes me feel constructive to be covered in mud, etc. after a day of physical labor....I completed a Bachelor's in Philosophy before going back to school for sciences and Veterinary Medicine (completed in Europe). Also took literature courses when I could fit them in. I'm born and bred in NYC. But now I'm definitely rambling... Drinking something? Coffee? Going somewhere that I can actually hear you speak?
