First and foremost, I am a Christian and will not be "yoked" with an non-believer. I am a hardworker, and independent, some would say down right stubborn at times. Nature walks/trails are very relaxing to me, and I almost always have my camera with me. I prefer the mountains rather than the beach for a few reasons:1. I can’t swim! But I love water, and “clean” beaches.2. I had skin cancer 17 years ago, so long days in the sun are not for me.3. The mountains feel like “home” to me. I would like to find someone to laugh, feel comfortable with, and trust that they have my best interests at heart. Update!!! If a couple is looking for a "third party", keep on looking. My favorite things to do are have easy fun with my daughter, she's the center of my universe since her adoption in ***. She and I are great together, we say our family is small but mighty. And of course our family includes the cat... I love to work out - weight training is at the top of the list but I also love walking, I take TRX training, zumba and yoga when I can get to a class, and I just started running back in December. my knees are not pleased with the running bit, but I really enjoy it. Reading is one of my favorite things to do and I make sure to read a little bit at least every day. I love to eat and visit restaurants, and I really enjoy going away for random weekends or daytrips, especially in the summer since I am free to do much more of what I want. My goal is to try to balance my work life and my mom life and also have a piece of it for myself. I want to be happy and laugh as much as possible. It's hard for me to relax and take it easy sometimes as I try to stay on top of everything, and I need to take more time outs. I personally think I have a pretty good life and I would like to have a person to share it all with.As for music, I am an NPR addict and when it's not NPR jazz is the best. I love it but know nothing about it. Same thing for wine, love it but know nothing about it.
