First and foremost, I am a Christian and will not be "yoked" with an non-believer. I am a hardworker, and independent, some would say down right stubborn at times. These are my preferences, as I’m sure you have your own. I am very interested in ancestry reasearch...amazing what you find sometimes! Nature walks/trails are very relaxing to me, and I almost always have my camera with me. I prefer the mountains rather than the beach for a few reasons:1. I can’t swim! But I love water, and “clean” beaches.2. I had skin cancer 17 years ago, so long days in the sun are not for me.3. The mountains feel like “home” to me. I would like to find someone to laugh, feel comfortable with, and trust that they have my best interests at heart. Update!!! If a couple is looking for a "third party", keep on looking. I thought this site might be a good way to meet some new people, maybe make some new friends or something more! I'm not looking to jump head-first into something serious, rather to start off casual and if it's there then it will progress naturally. Some of the more important characteristics I am looking for are honesty, a good moral compass and family values, sense of humor (mine can be dry/sarcastic but I can take it as well as I dish it out!), intelligence, and the ability to just have a good time!!! Physical attraction is important as well, but that doesn't mean looking like a model...and I'm more interested in what your profile says than your shirtless self-photos taken in the mirror anyway! But please be taller than me...it's the only physical characteristic I require. I am not interested in anyone who is playing games or brings drama with them...I've done my time with that! (FYI...kids do NOT equal drama, I have no problems with meeting someone who is a dad!) I like sports (Mets/Jets fan...keep your negative comments to yourself!...LOL!), love going to baseball games, going to the track to watch horse racing, playing poker, skiing, fishing, dining out, drinks at a bar (no clubs!), road trips to anywhere, or just staying in & watching a movie, playing a board game or cards, enjoying a home cooked meal and a bottle of wine, just spending time with a quality someone. It's more about who you're with than what you do that determines if it can be a good time. I'll try just about anything once so if you have other interests that are important to you I'd be willing to give them a try! My family & friends are a very important part of my life...too many people I know lose touch with their friends when they enter a new relationship, but mine will be a part of my life forever...and maybe you'll get to meet them one day! Something out of the ordinary and fun, where the opportunity to talk is there but short enough that if there isn't a mutual interest we're not stuck with each other for hours...and if it's going well we can always find something else to do!

I am a very energetic, warm and outgoing person. I take very few things seriously and find humor in almost everything. Yes, I realize that makes me immature, but also a lot of fun. I can BS my way through almost any conversation and know just enough about most things to sound really smart. I love spending time with my 2 awesome kids and watch them grow into actual human beings. I also LOVE my dog (who is the best dog that ever lived). I travel a LOT, both for work and pleasure and can pack a bag and be ready to go anywhere in minutes.
