I think a couple can be total opposites and not have hardly anything in common, one can be a health junkie while the other a junk food junkie. One can be a professional, the other unemployed or a waitress in a small family owned diner. Both may have different beliefs, different likes and dislikes, and difference in opinions but still be the best of friends, the best lovers, and even soul mates. So when someone says "we have/don't have a lot in common" I take that with a grain of salt. Because I believe it's not only about what you have in common but it's about the differences you're willing to accept and deal with. It's the differences that makes a person unique and who they are. For me, if I'm physically attracted I look at how we connect on an emotional level, how someone makes me feel, the things they say and do, as well as the things they don't. It's not about how much someone is like myself, it's about how different they are from anyone else. It's the little things that a person brings to my spirit that mean the most. I go on a date to see if we connect or if there's energy vibes there and I simply ask questions because I'm interested in you and who you are and for conversation. Having things in common is only a bonus but some of the best relationships are those that you would think would never work because the couple are so different. Opposites do attract and that's a fact. Real love comes without reason. It's a feeling that someone possesses upon you. It just is.... If you have a reason for loving someone, you don't really love them, you like them. If you have reasons for loving someone, then you are using your mind, but if you love someone for no reason, then you are using your heart... Maybe some people don't find they're perfect match because they don't give the not so perfect a chance. Maybe they're looking for all the wrong reasons. Just my own little drawn out opinion for those that are seeking commonalities. My hobbies are playing with my little girl, spending time in the kitchen, and of course shopping. I like fishing, watching football and nascar, taking walks, going for rides to no where, and snuggling on the sofa to watch a movie. I'ld like to find a job that I actually enjoy. My favorite food is spaghetti. I like all music but I'm a country girl so I listen to more country. I do have a southern drawl in my accent. I love to take photos of things. I'm down to earth, out going, good hearted and love to joke and play. I'm also sentimental and cry during a touching or sad movie. I tend to think of others first. I love animals and children. I've wasted all of my love life on dishonest cheaters with no clue what relationship means, who think the word love means a hill of beans, and don't know what they've got till it's gone. I'm a real woman and I want a real man. Well fellas that's me in a nut shell. ;-) First date. We don't have to do anything special. Just sit and talk and focus on getting to know one another.

I am a surgical registered nurse in the military and work a lot of hours. I am very laid back and not into drama. I am financially stable and just on here looking to enjoy the company of someone I might be compatible with. I believe in a healthy and active lifestyle. I don't mind having an occasional drink but if you drink to get drunk, we will probably not get along. I believe in friendship first, and if it leads to more then great. If nothing else there is always a potential to make a new friend. For those wondering about religion: I was raised Catholic, but my viewpoint on religion is open and flexible. I believe everyone has a right to their own belief system. My phone has the meetville application, it keeps my phone online even if I am not lol. I try to be courteous and answer most messages but please be respectful and do not send me sexually laden messages. Ideally my first date would be to meet, enjoy great conversation, and see if we would be compatible. Something simple as a coffee house or lunch would be a great start. I think the second meeting would be more of a first date, where you could plan a fun activity to enjoy together.
