I thought this site might be a good way to meet some new people, maybe make some new friends or something more! I'm not looking to jump head-first into something serious, rather to start off casual and if it's there then it will progress naturally. Some of the more important characteristics I am looking for are honesty, a good moral compass and family values, sense of humor (mine can be dry/sarcastic but I can take it as well as I dish it out!), intelligence, and the ability to just have a good time!!! Physical attraction is important as well, but that doesn't mean looking like a model...and I'm more interested in what your profile says than your shirtless self-photos taken in the mirror anyway! But please be taller than me...it's the only physical characteristic I require. I am not interested in anyone who is playing games or brings drama with them...I've done my time with that! (FYI...kids do NOT equal drama, I have no problems with meeting someone who is a dad!) I like sports (Mets/Jets fan...keep your negative comments to yourself!...LOL!), love going to baseball games, going to the track to watch horse racing, playing poker, skiing, fishing, dining out, drinks at a bar (no clubs!), road trips to anywhere, or just staying in & watching a movie, playing a board game or cards, enjoying a home cooked meal and a bottle of wine, just spending time with a quality someone. It's more about who you're with than what you do that determines if it can be a good time. I'll try just about anything once so if you have other interests that are important to you I'd be willing to give them a try! My family & friends are a very important part of my life...too many people I know lose touch with their friends when they enter a new relationship, but mine will be a part of my life forever...and maybe you'll get to meet them one day! Something out of the ordinary and fun, where the opportunity to talk is there but short enough that if there isn't a mutual interest we're not stuck with each other for hours...and if it's going well we can always find something else to do!

I thoroughly enjoy having quiet time to myself, however it would be nice to connect with someone. I would like to meet someone who is completely hilarious, sexy, charming, kind and is comfortable in their own skin. I enjoy looking into someone's eyes and making them fall to their knees.. No, not really. But it sounded nice anyway. If it happens .. that's awesome. My friends say that I am confident, funny, intuitive, flirty, sweet and loyal. I am an Aries. I am 5' 10" and ***lbs...we moved back in ***to be close to family and friends, and I haven't regretted that decision.So I am a single mom with two great kids. I am most thankful for my two children; daughter, 14 and son, 11. They are the two most important people in my life right now. As well as, my family and friends, who have always been there for me. I now have a whole new outlook on life after my breast cancer experience and I realize that life is too short to be unhappy and everyone deserves to be happy! I separated, bought a place of my own and started my new life/adventure January 1st, ***. I am a much happier and healthier person because of my decision to do so. I would have to say that I am most passionate about watching my kids do things or listening to them talk about things that they enjoy, learn and grow from as well as seeing them having fun along the way with it.Let's see....other than my appearance, the first thing that people notice about me is that I am a genuinely fun-loving, good natured person. At first though, I may come across as shy and reserved but once you get to know me...I am funny, passionate and most of all a very responsible person. My friends would describe me as a good listener, respectful, caring, warm, optimistic, dependable, romantic, kind, generous, sweet, affectionate, happy and thoughtful. Two of the most important qualities that I am looking for in another person are truthfulness and follow through (he says what he means and does what he says). I also need someone with a great sense of humor, a kind heart, a sexy smile and a solid commitment to family. Someone that is financially responsible and knows what is really important to him and what he wants out of life. Someone that appreciates that simple things in life. Someone that is very affectionate, thoughtful and romantic. Must be a good listener and have a happy outlook on life.A few things that I can't live without: my daughter and my son, of course; laughing at least once a day, if not more; double stuff oreo cookies, yummy; and my morning french vanilla cappuccino, a must have! I have many hobbies....one is bowling, which is a huge passion of mine. I also enjoy biking, hiking,volleyball and horseback riding. As well as, cooking, working outside in the yard, meals with friends, game night with family, watching or going to sporting events on weekends, antique shopping, festivals, concerts, take a long walk or drive to no where and just spending time and sharing life's experiences with that special someone is what life is really all about.I enjoy listening to all kinds of music while doing chores around the house or out running errands. I like relaxing on the back deck with a glass of wine and just taking the time to enjoy nature. I love cuddling up on the couch and watching a good movie or reading a excellent book. King / Folks & Traditional - The Lumineers.Kinds of TV shows I like to watch: Comedy (Last Man Standing ***and A Half Men) Books I like to read: Mystery/Thrillers, Romance Novels/Self-Help or Self-Improvement. I enjoy reading self-help books, since we can always improve on one's self. Well, what can I say about romance novels...it is fun to just be able to escape every once and a while.Kinds of pets I have or like: dogs / fish / ferrets / cats / horses. I would like to go out to dinner somewhere so we can talk and get to know one another better. I like all kinds of foods....as well as mexican, italian, chinese. Any where from chain restaurants to mom & pop places. I am happy to dress up in a little black dress, stockings and high heels but if I were being honest, I am most comfortable in a well worn t-shirt and a comfortable pair of blue jeans.
