GUYS-why do you click yes on wanting to meet someone and then don't return that woman's messages??? i really don't get it!i am a divorced mom of 2 kids-both of which are in high school. i have been divorced for 12 yrs and have been searching for the one, for a long time now. i've done different dating sites but with no luck. i thought i'd give this one a go. i am a surgical technician and have been for 20yrs-at the same hospital-so you know i'm dedicated!!! loli love goin for long walks, roller coasters, love baseball an i'm a die- i love all kinds of music-mostly pop. i'm up for goin out to the movies or to dinner or just staying home watching movies and relaxing. not much into fancy places(maybe cuz i've never been taken to fancy places)but i'd be willing to try new things. i'm defintitely more of a country girl!!! i'm here looking for someone special and no games. i would really like to get re-married someday, to the right person, of course. i have no problem if you have kids cuz i have kids and that seems only fair. i however am not willing to have anymore of my own kids-too old for that!! first date should be casual like meeting for coffee or lunch-nothing too complex. alot of conversation to determine if there will be a second date. i need someone who is a talker, that can make me feel comfortable and not nervous. i am somewhat shy and quiet, which may lead guys to think i'm not interested or stuck on myself-but that's usually not the case

I couldn't come up with a headline for a dating website... This is one I've seen and I use it for me. I'm not an adrenaline junkie, but I try to keep pushing myself forward. Please be down to earth. Please be able to laugh, even at yourself. I'm a bit self-deprecating so... Some of the best jokes are at the expense of me or one of my friends. I can not live without music or books. I have loads of CDs and the vinyl I managed to salvage from my mother's house... The bag I carry with me tends to weigh a ton because of the books I always have tucked away in it... I don't know the first thing about a nook, etc.. I need to be able to turn the pages as I read...I like going out to eat or a concert or whatever, but I really, really like being able to be comfortable with someone hanging at home too. A night of a movie on the couch is great. Naps are good too. Silence that is comfortable... That can be a big thing.I get focused on things and want to learn about them (muscle cars), but I guess most people are like that? I'm dying of jealousy because one of my closest friends is about to buy a ***Studebaker Hawk... I love the color red (obviously), I'm kind of particular about my coffee, I have a notebook that I write down quotes I come across and love, I ran around like a maniac tomboy as a kid and have fallen out of more trees than I can count, I tend to stick pens in my hair and then wander around the rest of the day wondering what I've done with them all, I never get tired of the sound of the ocean, I like learning to do things for myself (apartment stuff, car stuff, etc.), it makes me feel constructive to be covered in mud, etc. after a day of physical labor....I completed a Bachelor's in Philosophy before going back to school for sciences and Veterinary Medicine (completed in Europe). Also took literature courses when I could fit them in. I'm born and bred in NYC. But now I'm definitely rambling... Drinking something? Coffee? Going somewhere that I can actually hear you speak?
