I am a busy working Mom who enjoys cooking, reading, and playing words with friends, yes, I know crazy but I like it. As for my taste in music, it is like my taste in everything else..... I like classical, southern rock, some country, some pop, some rap, as long as it sounds good, I like it.A few dislikes.....1) Men who are not emotionally ready for a relationship but say they are. Everyone is entitled to a past but deal with yours before professing your desire for a relationship.2) racism- I read this from another profile and decided to use it. We have a black president... Get over it! He's not an idiot... That would make him the opposite if an idiot. 3) Homophobes- They are not evil and have every right to be here, marry etc. 4) closed minded men- your opinion is not the only one. It's your opinion. I may have a different one. That doesn't mean I can't like you and it doesn't mean I will try to change your mind so don't try to change mine.5) too serious- I like men who can laugh at themselves and me when I say something stupid.I'm looking for a serious relationship, if you're not then don't waste my time. On a first, I would like a gentleman to pick me up and take me to dinner at a nice place. It does not have to be overly fancy or pretentious, although I am comfortable with fine dining. I enjoy good conversation. After dinner, I would like to visit an exhibit or museum. Some place that allows for more conversation. Then to top off the night, coffee or a night cap. Again more conversation.

If that isn't your cup of tea OR your children are grown and young ones don't appeal to you right now, I get that. I really, truly do! I never thought I'd be in the online dating world at this point in my life. I'm not into serial dating. In fact, I'm finding out I'm a lil guarded and ultra picky...as we all should be, I suppose. I don't want to waste anyone's time and I don't want you to waste my time. Life is too short and I'm not interested in dating someone that we both know would be no future with. Let's all just be honest about who we are, what we're looking for, etc. Deal? Deal. :)P.S. I'm not *** Sorry if I don't respond but, chances are, I'm not truly sitting in front of my computer. I have a tendency to turn on my laptop and forget about it or get busy with other things. Sorry! WAIT...one more thing! Why do people select others as "favorites" or someone they want to meet but not initiate a coversation or send a message? I don't get that. *I couldn't update this without selecting "my personality in one word"....really?? AND, as if "animal lover" is considered one word!OH, one more thing...I prefer a man to be taller and stronger than me. :) And, well, I'm a little tall and a little strong. Heart and Tori Amos are my favorite bands. I have met the band members of Heart several times, but still would like to meet Tori. I want to learn how to play my keyboard and guitar. I played piano growing up. I still need to learn how to play Euchre. I am Catholic but don't judge me because of that. We all believe in the same God if you are Christian. I am not an extreme Catholic, but I would like to learn more about my own religion and get back on track. "I will love you unconditionallly. There is no fear now. Let's go on and just be free." A first date is just nice in a place where you can talk and hear one another's conversation well.
