I also love taking day trips to check out new areas, a new restaurant, window shopping, or just exploring. The beach is always a favorite place, not necessarily in the middle of summer, but rather in spring or fall, when it is quiet and calm, before the tourists take over and when the shore still belongs to the shorebirds. Those are my favorite times of year.I can be a bit of a study in dichotomies. For example, I think I exude warmth and people are drawn to that; at the same time, in groups I can be quite shy, which has been mistaken for aloofness, which has given others the impression that I am intimidating--though I promise I'm really not! I don't think there is any doubt when I walk into a room that I am a confidant woman. I'm educated, professional, and ambitious. At the same time, I'm comfortable kicking back with a cold beer, going to a rock concert or to a club, or just hanging with friends. I tend to speak in song lyrics. I laugh easily...in fact I crack myself up daily! I have 2 dogs and we are a package deal.
