About Me

I'm a single mom of a smart, funny, creative boy. I work in the field of education and love my job. I enjoy weight training several times a week and for cardio I usually run- either on the treadmill or outside. I'm into running 5Ks. I also try to get my son out to run with me at least once or twice a week. Fitness is extremely important to me. I'm not at my ideal weight yet but I'm very close. I'm in the best shape of my adult life and plan to keep up the healthy lifestyle on a long term basis. I also enjoy music- typically R&B, Hip Hop, some Pop, some country and a little Contemporary Christian.I'm a Christ follower and that is very important to me. I am raising my son to have a strong faith as well. The people I date should also be Christ followers and serious about their faith.I have a great sense of humor, love to laugh and have fun. I'm not into partying and that sort of thing. I got all that out of my system before I became a single mom.I'm hoping to meet guys that are looking to date and possibly become serious at some point. I'm big on getting to know someone pretty well before I move to texting/phone calls or meeting. I'm not trying to play hard to get, I'm just wanting to move slowly, become friends first and then maybe more. I'm not looking for a dad for my son. His dad is involved in his life and we get along fine. The person I will end up with will be an important part of my son's life and should love my son as his own. But that doesn't mean that I'm looking for a dad for my son, just so you know. :- If you don't take time to read your information to make sure it is typed properly, that tells me at least a little about you- typically that you aren't too worried about 1st impressions.
