Woman. 44 years old. Zodiac sign: Leo.
Looking for: man. In age: 41-51
Native to SF. Work for a non profit. It is a great gig. Looking for a long term relationship with "him". Prefer the dark hair, dark eyed brilliant type, but who knows who is out there that is right for me. Love to read, travel, craft, not so much TV. My next "real" vacation will be to South America. I can't wait to fly over your Nazca Lines and then there is Machu Picchu!!!!! The only thing that would make that trip even more amazing than it is as it stands alone would be to go with a man that has the same passion for travel (not vaca, but travel). I'm not the type to stay by the pool on vaca (I do love a great tan though). I want to experience the world. I like creative guys who on the surface appear grounded but have undying passion for their art. For the record: Art comes in many shapes and forms.

Update: I've had several matches where texting, messaging & phone conversations go great! In person, not so much. Chemistry in person, is huge for me. If it's not there, I probably won't go on date #2. Also, I've been told a few times now, that I look better than my pictures. You can decide that for yourself. Intelligent, analytical teacher in SE MN. Looking for a long term relationship. Love the outdoors: gardening, geocaching, hiking, jump in the car with no particular destination. Miss having a companion. I do have a 16 year old daughter who is bright, athletic & a huge volleyball buff (as am I). Being a special education teacher of middle schoolers has made me incredibly patient. I recently applied to the U of M's Master Gardener program, have been accepted & will start the 40 hour class in January. Super excited about that! The adventures I've been on: bungee jumped; reverse bungee jumped-not nearly as thrilling; spent 10 days canoeing &; rode bike down Ludsen mtn-awesome!; milked cows-love it!; drove tractor too many times to count-took out a fence; hiked Harney Peak in SD many times;; antagonized many bulls...& been chased a couple of times; caught a skunk in a live trap-I don't recommend it!; built a cute little outhouse/shed in my garden last summer-sans blueprint/plans. Some of those adventures I'd do again. Some I shouldn't have ever done.I am a huge family person. Love all of my nieces & nephews! They say the darndest things(-; Lost my dad on Fathers Day 3 years ago. Mom lives 1 block away. Baby sister & It has been GREAT having them so close!I dabble in wood working & typically have 1 or 2 projects going on-occasionally in my mind-but usually in my garage. Quite crafty, creative & love a new idea. I got back into running, recently. Have been out of it due to shin splints that just wouldn't go away. So far, lots of stretching both before a run & after have kept them at bay. Hope to run a 5k two months from now.Things I can't live without: my daughter, smart phone-never should have bought that darn thing, ***, pretzels, sushi, Vikings, laughter of toddlers, flowers in my gardens. You will also be intelligent, adventurous, funny. Easy going but not a couch potato. Cheaters, one-night-standers, smokers, liars & married men need not apply! I am not looking for a pen pal. Please be willing to meet face to face.Love the Big Bang Theory TV show. Also, Top Gear-those guys are hilarious! Good Eats & Judge Judy-ha ha! My daughter & I love to volunteer for Feed My Starving Children. I've worked a lot with Habitat for Humanity. Daughter & ***. Had a GREAT time!If you've read "The 5 Love Languages", I'm a "quality time" person. You will also find that I will bend over backward for you.Shoot me a message if you've read this far & want to know more. I'm pretty much an open book. First date should be in a location where we can talk & get to know each other. A hike would be great!
