OK I am going to give this website another chance to work, it seems I always shy away from it and never really give it a good chance. I have to believe my soul mate is out there. And since he isn't in my local grocery store or library I will try this route. My story is that I had spent many years trying to make the wrong relationship work. Although things didn't work out I am thankful for the experience because it has allowed me to have a better understanding of myself and the kind of person I want to be with. It took me a long time to really get over all the drama I went through with my ex, in the past I was not ready to move on and open my heart to another. I am confident and completely certain that I am now and look forward to moving forward. My friends are convincing me to do this, so here I am. A sense of humor and family oriented is very important to me. My kids are number one in my life and I am a completely happy independent woman.. Finding the right man to share all the wonderful things life has to offer would be a bonus.. For me the perfect date would be a nice dinner in a good restaurant. A glass of wine and learning all we can about each other should flow naturally.

**** I am 43 **** Messed up on the year...but I feel and act like I am in my 30's...most of my friends are in their early 30's...FYIWhere to start....I could be described as hard working, caring, thoughtful, intellectual, high spirited, simple, easy-going and down-to-earth. I love to listen to life tales or crazy stories. I keep myself active by hiking, walking the dog, yoga, free-weights, puttering in the garden, and continuing my education. I would love to do more physical activities but I need a 'partner' - ie. tennis, golf, camping, kick-boxing....ya know doing things alone sucks!I am open to new things and will always give something new a try. I have a great dog and cat! Appreciate beautiful sunny days...which you will always find me in the garden...and possibly a cold beer in hand...LOL!! I am in a new chapter in life and would love to have an awesome man to enjoy what life brings (I am thinking travel, early retirement, and overall loving life).MY IDEAL MAN: anxious/eager to keep active, have the ability to sustain an articulate/interesting conversation, employed with his 'ducks' in a row or a rough game plan (re: retirement), outgoing, nutty and funny at the right moments, love to camp, hike, etc (see my first description of the ideal man), one that likes crazy/spontaneous sex, and lastly a person that makes me feel special (give me hugs and whisper in my ear something sweet).-bone steak, fresh sheets, hugs, massages (giving and receiving), smiling, yoga, loud music, a dirty mind, wind chimes, big Harleys, strong hands, warm hearts, sharing, ....to be continued....THINGS I DISLIKE: rude people, dog poop, cooked peas, muscle pain, animal abusers,.....come to think about it I really don't have many dislikes in general however I do have strong feelings about some human traits: rudeness, arrogance, ***, superficiality, etc...oh...and a BIGGIE liars!!!! How about a hike/walk with the dog(s), frisbee golf, driving range, go-karting, or even a pub??
