About Me

Ok, here we go...I have a ten year old son who is amazingly a lot like me. A 23 year old daughter who is turning into me. I am a teacher for inner city high school kids and love what I do. Having the opportunity to help these kids grow and learn ....is a challenge like no other! I love to travel, mostly to the Caribbean. Learning about different cultures, and seeing new places are amazingly interesting to me. My son has been my cruise companion for the past four years! LOL... It's amazing how young my son keeps me!!!! Anyway it would be nice to find a man who is adventurous and willing to go exploring with me alone as well as with my son. I seem to always meet those types of men that don't want to leave the state! You will be wasting our time. Also, my son really hates snorkeling right now, so it would be fun if I didn't have to go in the water alone! Besides the above, I've got a lot a diverse things I enjoy: Dancing, singing in the shower, scrap booking my vacations and friends weddings, swimming in a pool, going to see live bands, playing computer games (my geek side!), reading, writing, going to plays, musicals, movies, hotels, hiking in the woods, canoeing, ....I love a great conversation and I enjoy playing devils advocate once in a while!! My friends are my family. I have known some of my friends since grade school and continue making new friends at my job. My friends would say that I am fun, funny, a sarcastic ass, loyal, kind, caring, loving, passionate about what I say and do. That's me! It's much more economical that way:)**update: went to a wine festival and found a new favorite....indulgence by Linganore. it's CHOCOLATE!!!!!!! they mixed it with raspberry wine and i felt like i was is heaven for a brief moment.....floating on a magical cloud of wonderfulness...anyway, back to earth...Dark chocolate is my favorite, milk chocolate is like the diet coke of chocolate.
